Never rooted, but Knox is 0x1

I've got N9000Q, I've never rooted, just got OTA updates, but Knox counter shows 0x1, and I cannot install Knox.

How can this be and what should I do?

You've never rooted, but are you sure if it has not been rooted by anyone else?

Did you buy it with a factory sealed box?

You can use Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app to get the Knox warranty status without entering into the Odin Mode.

Have you updated your phone and flashed an older version? Going from KitKat to JellyBean will trigger your knox counter.

I bought it with a factory sealed box.

I'm sure it hasn't been rooted by someone else. I'm the only user since it has been bought.

I checked the Knox warranty status in Odin Mode and also by Phone INFO ★Samsung★.

Both says 0x1 ...

I have 2 cases like this with my friends phone N9005 europe sets. Bought it in seal.
They just notice also after update.
But I found 1 more another friend. Before he update I asked him to go download mode nd see. It is knox 0x1 alrd. No root, factory seal.
So, now, I always advice my friend who wants to buy to check by goin to download mode nd see the knox.

This type of things you should check on the spot of purchase. Otherwise, they will deny that the items come like that. My friends did try, the shop only said sorry, you have done something with your phone.
You can try, no harm. But like I said, retailer has the right to reject when they see this flag trip.
