Well...I'd say just wait it out....you will get it.I wish, I can't even get this thing unlocked![]()
There is no way to relock, at least not that I have found and was also told by someone else, here.If I relock the tablet can I get OTAs? Or am I stuck waiting for the factory image?

Have you switched to the 4.2 interface? I'd say that's what I prefer over 4.1 & you also gain more support from future apps that may require 4.2+.I have completely stock non-root and locked. I updated to 4.2.1 and I feel it's about the same in performance. Not an update to be very excited about.
I assumed we could do fastboot -i 0x0B05 oem relock, but I guess not, then. There is no way to relock, at least not that I have found and was also told by someone else, here.
I was assuming that as well and was hoping, but apparently not. Oh well. Just have to wait until asus drops the update on their site.I assumed we could do fastboot -i 0x0B05 oem relock, but I guess not, then.

I just have one more question. If I right now return back to stock, when the OTA is on the ASUS site, can I download the new one and update without a wipe?I was assuming that as well and was hoping, but apparently not. Oh well. Just have to wait until asus drops the update on their site.
My tablet is untouched like yours and I am finding the update is INCEDIBLE!!! Web browsing (which was my biggest gripe) went from decent to Very Fast on Chrome and made Dolphin and Boat Browsers quicker as well, but their video playback still sucks compared to Chrome.I have completely stock non-root and locked. If you're unlocked, you won't get the ota update. You'll need to wait until Asus posts the ROM on their site. Those of you that have received the update, are you just checking for update in the about section on the tablet? I just updated mine to the last OTA, hadn't done that yet, and was going to try to update through the system updates but it tells me I'm up to date.
As of now, I'm not rooted and have stock recovery, bootloader is unlocked though.
No matter what you do, you will have to wipe data, I think.I just have one more question. If I right now return back to stock, when the OTA is on the ASUS site, can I download the new one and update without a wipe?
Yea...I've gathered that from the other threads and replies I've gotten from people. Bummer, oh well. I can wait.If you're unlocked, you won't get the ota update. You'll need to wait until Asus posts the ROM on their site.

Probably best to wait a little bit anyway. It gives a chance for ota people to give feedback about it. I hope there are no partition updates that would mess up people like me that are unlocked, use recovery, and fancy flashing in rootNo matter what you do, you will have to wipe data, I think.
This is the easiest guide I have found to follow. Literally took my 5 minutes to do it all today. I've used that guide every time I have updated my tablet.
Obviously that link is for the tf700, but it works with the tf300 too, just make sure you get the appropriate files.
