OK, my device is rooted but not unlocked. Think I root it while on ICS and kept root with VooDoo ever since. Anyway, I've my bluetooth on JB 4.2.1 now. Here's what I did:

Downgraded back to jb 4.1 ver 10.4.2.20.
Check and verify bluetooth working.
Factory reset.
Left bluetooth on.
Re-install jb 4.2.1 OTA.

I hope this help.
Were you able to maintain root after the factory reset?

Has anyone with 4.2 installed tried to unlock the bootloader?
At least one user has been displayed their bootloader serial number.
I'm waiting for the Asus firmware release with many others!

fastboot -i 0x0b05 getvar all

I finally got fastboot to push the 4.1 firmware. I don't know why it wasn't working before...I thought the eMMC went bad and that caused the update to go haywire. My warranty is up in May so I'll probably just unlock at this point. The 4.2 stock FW is pretty impressive by the way, except for the glitch in the recent app animation.

I used the unlock apk provided by asus and unlocked perfectly fine. Haven't done anything with it yet, though.

Locked and using fastboot? That's a change from prior firmware.
I'm glad you were able to update.
Good Luck!

Here is the new 4.2.1 ota download. This is courtesy of tbdawg; please see post #57 in this thread and give him a thanks. This is the third time he has supplied an ota for those that no longer receive them.
Good Luck!

Note: It appears you will need to be on 10.4.2.20 to use this update! This is the US version!
assert(file_getprop("/system/build.prop", "ro.build.fingerprint") == "asus/US_epad/EeePad:4.1.1/JRO03C/US_epad-10.4.2.20-20121228:user/release-keys" ||
file_getprop("/system/build.prop", "ro.build.fingerprint") == "asus/US_epad/EeePad:4.2.1/JOP40D/US_epad-10.6.1.8-20130225:user/release-keys");

Good Luck!
Did anyone on an Unlocked 300 ever get this installed or is everyone waiting for the official ROM from ASUS?

LOL...Not to mention that's not even the latest update, however 1st level CSR so no real big surprise they don't know anything. Problem is those people work there because it's a J-O-B, not because they like the products. My guess is that better than 80% of them don't even own an Asus product, let alone a TF tablet. ;)

Is there an easy way to close apps with the dock attached? It feels a bit inconvenient having to move the cursor to the bottom right of the screen to open the recent apps and then back to the far right hand side to actually select or close an app

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
