Well I would rather not get the update if it messes with the screen and use a 3rd party app for sound boosting.
Why is it so hard for all these OEM's to get this stuff right? Every patch, every update, every new version, and we go through the bug crap all over again!
When is someone going to hold these companies accountable for this stuff? We make Microsoft play nice and we need to do the same with phone makers.

Many of us do not have the issues others have mentioned. My screen is fantastic and I don't have any lag. It was suggested that some issues might be related to the keyboard, but I don't use the awful built-in Swiftkey, as I immediately replaced it with Google's far superior keyboard.

I replaced the keyboard for awhile the same as you...but since I hate having two of the same thing on my phone I just started using the built in keyboard and it works just fine. Really no difference between the two of them for me. I am not having any issues other than low cell signal on 4G, but I am always wary to install new updates for fear that they will break more than they fix. It is getting OLD.

I tried that too because it annoys me to have non-removable redundant apps. However, I found Swiftkey to have some annoying quirks and generally to be inferior to Google's keyboard. To each their own, but I wish Sony wouldn't force it on us.

This firmware is even worse than the one before it. My camera is crashing a lot with it, I'v had to delete all messages in the default messenger app as that also keeps crashing. Then after about 10 sms messages it crashes again. I've had to download a third party sms app to text people. This phone is getting more annoying by the day.

I've experienced these issues lately. I had installed the sony messaging app - had to uninstall that since it kept crashing. The camera has crashed few times in the last 2-3 days. To make matters worse the inline spkr works sometimes, sometimes doesn't work
