There are no "Erisin" units - Erisin are a seller only - to find out what unit you have go to settings/about device - the 3 letters after "MTCD" or "MTCE" will tell you what device you have.

Not yet. It seems that all new MTCD 7.1.x units have this problem. At this point, I am not even sure if its a hardware issue or a software one. Two things are in my mind though:

(1) Try to use an external USB mic and see if it works
(2) Try using a Bluetooth mic and see if that works

Don't have either, will try to get them and test.

I think it will be interesting for you who asked me in PM about custom Android 7.

I want to buy a PX3 on an Android 7.
Probably on the November sale.

All the interesting improvements and corrections from 5 will be transferred to 7. It will have the built-in root, of course.
There will be a firmware based on 7, which can be launched both on the new HU, where there was 7 from the box, and on the old one, where there was 5.
Red text will not be, so this firmware can be used to those who have flashed another MCU.

After the sale of the old HU for buying a new one, today there is not enough $ 200.
So with gratitude I will accept donations from those who are interested in the fastest release of Hal9k Mod v2.0
Then I can order HU as soon as the necessary amount is collected.

- is it enought fast unit ?
- there is a benchmark on this new unit PX3 and PX5 ?
- opengl is fast too like PX5 ?
- HDMI output is 50 or 60 fps ?

i have a new mtce with android 7 unit and it does not have this problem, google now work flawless with only the internal mic, did not try the external mic as it wasn't needed .

I just got a Seicane heud unit for my car. It has px3 2gb ram and andoid 7.1. It has small fan allready factory installed. Do you think it is any good to keep the unit cooled?

Maybe in the weekend I will have time to install the unit to my car so I can comment more about my experiences

Then I installed a recorder (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vr.audio.voicerecorder&rdid=vr.audio.voicerecorder) and made a few test recordings. The quality is not very good, it rushes and crackles, but one can understand what one has said.

Yes I know that. I have not installet/started the unit to get that info. The point was that have you seen other units that come with a pre-installed cooling fans?
