It appears on the first list that supposedly it's gonna get MIUI 12 but then in the latest one it isn't. Search it, latest list got all the Mi 9 except the Lite, it has Redmi Note 8s and 9s, even the Mi 8 Lite but no Mi 9 Lite.

Actually it's a release candidate, if anything goes well we'll be receiving MIUI 12 by end of next week -crossing fingers-

Downloaded now but one weird thing. It didn't change the control center. It's the same as before.

It has to be enabled in a menu. Solved.

Floating windows don't work. The feature is there but when I try to use it from recent the app only disappear. I think it is not implented yet for our device.

I updated my mi 9 lite with last MIUI update.
It seems everything works perfect.
I had a thought about my NOVA Launcher, but it works ok .
MIUI VERSION: MIUI Global 12.0.3.0 (QFCEUXM) Stable
ANDROID Ver: 10 QKQ1.190828.002

yes I changed my system from Poland to Spain and I have now recieved the udpate too..

After the last update, everything works perfect.
The new environment is better.
The only small issue, is the location.
If it's off the wifi works, but ssid needs location to be discovered the name. ?
The location icon is not appearred at the top icons. ?

can someone check if volte works on italian carrier "ho.mobile"? I can't get to make it works, ims not registered

Now it works for me too but only after I enabled free form windows in developer options. Initialy it didn't work.
