Thank you! These look so much better than the Lollipop emoji. Here ya go.. Attached
Thanks for this! Finally got it to work after trying forever. I'd like the iOS version (which I'm sure is out there but I give up on trying) but I'll settle for the ugly Android ones for now, lol.And based on my previous reply... Here goes a flashable zip of the updated AOSP keyboard. I pulled the apk and the libraries off of today's CM13 nightly for my device (Moto G). It should work on any ARMv7 device running either Lollipop or Marshmallow.
Link coming soon.
Edit: It's up.
Put the zip at the root of your phone's internal storage before flashing.
You just need to replace the emoji font and you're good. There's an iOS 9.x AppleColorEmoji.ttf somewhere around this forum, you only need to searchThanks for this! So I finally got the Apple ones to work. Only problem is they are the yellow color and from what I gather the only work around is some annoying skin tone thing that's really kind of obnoxious. I'll totally settle for these Android ones for now. Thanks again. You just need to replace the emoji font and you're good. The keyboard app doesn't include any new emoji. To check if the emojis are working, you have to check any text that includes the new emoji. Try Emojipedia.Just flashed it in twrp on my Nexus 6p running Chroma rom latest build. But speaking about emoji's there isn't a middle finger emoji![]()
No worries my current rom updated and it brought all of the emoji's!The keyboard app doesn't include any new emoji. To check if the emojis are working, you have to check any text that includes the new emoji. Try Emojipedia.
Emojis you can use depend on the keyboard you use. Some probably check what android version you're running and only show the ones you're supposed to have. I know for a fact Touchpal will show the new emojis, and others from the play store probably will as well.My emojis show up online or in texts I receive but I can't seem to use them. What an I doing wrong?
