hey guys how you doing?? well i am roaming around these threads and on here for a few questions to help out a friend...you see i am an android follower since day one ive owned my fare share of android devices so i am always sporting and flaunting my android hype lol!!! but anyways i am on here to help out a friend you see...he just got the atrix 4g and he wants me to do the whole bells and whistles for him...the phone already looks amazing and all so i am sure you guys have done a lot more lol!!! well anyways i am here for a few things

1. whats the root methods thats most popular and secure and stable...
2.what the most popular rom and kernel with good battery and closest to stock experience
3. is wifi tether working and is there like any fixes or mods that are recommended

for now i think thats all i need to get started so any input is welcome and i thank you guys for your help!!

edit : i am also doing some reading on the forums so as i go..... i am answering a few questions of mine so dont hang me please about the using the search option.....so i see the boatloader is locked!!! darn GO DEVS!!!

Aroot is the best rooting option and it allows non market app installation. No roms yet but you can use setcpu to underclock and save battery. Just some tips on battery life...if you are having less than expected battery life try a full charge while the phone if off and if you still are having problems, fully charge your phone and do a hard reset. These seemed to have helped many users expieriencing any problems. Most of all though, enjoy your new beast!

Pseudo ROM is Gingerblur its really good changes the look of everything to 2.3 aroot is the best method there's also a webtop mod that allows running the "laptop" feature once connected to something via hdmi. That is everything that is out there for the phone at this point
