I change the boot logo.bin for the clogo.bmp, but this looks ugly :crying: . How did you make it look good?
Clogo.bmp <> Logo.bin.

Clogo is just "normal" BMP file, 720x1280 in size, with one and only one graphic in it. Its used on phones that have never had an unlocked bootloader.

Logo.bin contains 3 "images" (M logo, battery graphic for 0-3% charge, and unlocked bootloader warning), and its saved in a "special" file format. Its used if the bootloader is either Locked or Relocked. To make your own LOGO.BIN, see the tips in This Post and use carock's script

And I've added both the new black and white "powered by Android" Clogo.bmp's, along with converted to Logo.BIN files to -> -> http://mark.cdmaforums.com/X-STUFF/X-LogoBins.zip (when you unzip, the Cvtd folder contains the original graphic so you can see what they are, and the LogoBin folder contains the logo.bin ready to flash)

Is this on topic?
Anyway

I am tired of the (April fools ? ) monsters! How to get the original BA back?
On 442 w/o root.
If you were rooted you can try to go into /data/local/moodle and delete the boot animation stored there, or just copy the stock one on top of it.

but you say w/o root.. so.. as far as I know, you're stuck until we are out of the date range.

How often do you reboot your phone that the monsters are a problem?

If you're rooted, RomToolBox has tons of custom animations to choose from.
If you're BLU, then this is a good way to chuck the annoying, bright "Bootloader Unlocked" nastygram.
Not the original, but I like this one (sorry to the original maker, I forgot your name. I found it in the Atrix HD bootloader unlock unlock section)

OK, I've been going crazy trying to figure out what I did that made it go away and how to get it back. I actually liked it.
With root & wp off you can put the monsters .zip into system/media/ . Just replace the bootanimation.zip with the other one.
I saw the monsters posted somewhere.

Yeah, I thought I had pulled it and posted it along with a few other people. I can't seem to find it on my Dropbox though.

Found it, I moved it.
