Ok, then it must be the dexopt flags on your phones build.prop. For me it runs by now 4days without any freezes that I had before. I didn't change much inside the build.prop file. So only dexopt and WiFi scan interval nothing else was changed and you can keep v4.2 if everything else is OK for you.Same problem here

Excactly this is also my observation since the last days. No crash no freez and battery is better. The quetion is why some of us have problems with the amended build.prop file ?!Changed to the new build.prop yesterday. No boot issues, no other problems so far, no crashes anymore (I had these from time to time before) but it has been a half day only so far, so I will confirm in a few days.

I was getting black screen of death every couple of days. Was hoping to fix it with the new build.prop. I'll try changing it as suggestedOk, then it must be the dexopt flags on your phones build.prop. For me it runs by now 4days without any freezes that I had before. I believe that the dexopt flags on the default ROM were the root cause for someones like me, for issues like blackscreen, Power Button not working, sudden blue Led etc. So the v=a or v=y or default v=n parameter could be the issue.
You could try by yourself for those with the above issues to turn on verification. So v=y[es] and not v=a[ll] the default is v=n[o]. Or try the other flags as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I will wait couple of days for others feedback and will then post it on the first thread.Install the rom with the modified file build.prop which BetaHydri interceded several threads before. I'm testing it since yesterday and so far everything is working very well, there is no freez, no black screens and the battery lasts well.
OK not good, on my x800 its still running without issues 5days by now. I posted both ROM links on the first thread, so that anyone can try and decide V4.2 or V4.2b (with the new intergrated build.prop).Unfortunately, my x800 with the new build.prop crashed again last night (black screen, blue LED on, no reaction to anything). I was not even doing anything, the phone was lying on a table, although it is possible that app upgrades were taking place in the background (???)
Yes I read that, thanks. Hopefully that will change the game with our hand made tweaked ROMs that are far from being perfectSorry to hijack the thread but this could be nice news!

Moreover they're officially launching in US and internationally on October 19th, maybe this will help us too.![]()
Like I said the only changes from 4.2 and 4.2b are build.prop changes nothing else. And Gyroscope was fixed with changes in V4.2 it should work out of the box now after factory reset wipe.Ok, so i just fresh installed v4.2b and it's getting worse. First, i couldn't get LightFlow to work, i had to install GravityBox and first disable the LED from there. Now, my gyroscope, accelerometer, compass are not working. I read the post where you said about the files in persist/sensors and all are there. Still, it's not working. And the battery life is just horrible. I let it overnight with nothing switched on and with 2g network. I got from 84% to 40%. (i have Greenify/Amplify installed and it's better, but still it's far away from good battery life). Also, the GPS doesn't see any sattelites. And the gyroscope, even though it's working, it's the same as before. Any ideas?
I don't have any blue LED issues and i never had those. With any version, i ever had a freeze or a crash. I will try to replace the gps.conf. I did a dalvik cache wipe and the sensors work now, but the gps still doesn't find any sattellites. I calibrated the battery and this night i went from 55% to 52% in about 7 hours. So that improved a lot too.Like I said the only changes from 4.2 and 4.2b are build.prop changes nothing else. And Gyroscope was fixed with changes in V4.2 it should work out of the box now after factory reset wipe.
GPS is also untouched since V4.0. So no clue why some of the Versions behaves completely contrary and get worse for some of us. I would try again the factory reset you handset and when it doesn't work for you then flash some of the other versions that had worked. You could then also try the replace the build.prop with the one in the first page and see if you can get rid of the blue LED and other freezes that I haven't seen by now on my handset for the past 5+ days. For me v4.2 is very stable and a good reason to keep it until we will get hopefully Marshmellow when the kernel sources have been released from LEEco.
@BetaHydriUnfortunately, my x800 with the new build.prop crashed again last night (black screen, blue LED on, no reaction to anything). I was not even doing anything, the phone was lying on a table, although it is possible that app upgrades were taking place in the background (???)
