Same problem here :(

I reverted back to the original build.prop and it boots fine.
Ok, then it must be the dexopt flags on your phones build.prop. For me it runs by now 4days without any freezes that I had before. I didn't change much inside the build.prop file. So only dexopt and WiFi scan interval nothing else was changed and you can keep v4.2 if everything else is OK for you.

I believe that the dexopt flags on the default ROM were the root cause for someones like me, for issues like blackscreen, Power Button not working, sudden blue Led etc. So the v=a or v=y or default v=n parameter could be the issue.

You could try by yourself for those with the above issues to turn on verification. So v=y[es] and not v=a[ll] the default is v=n[o]. Or try the other flags as well.

Changed to the new build.prop yesterday. No boot issues, no other problems so far, no crashes anymore (I had these from time to time before) but it has been a half day only so far, so I will confirm in a few days.

Excactly this is also my observation since the last days. No crash no freez and battery is better. The quetion is why some of us have problems with the amended build.prop file ?!

Ok Build.prop swapped. Then wipe the phone and... standing on the start screen :(

I was getting black screen of death every couple of days. Was hoping to fix it with the new build.prop. I'll try changing it as suggested

Install the rom with the modified file build.prop which BetaHydri interceded several threads before. I'm testing it since yesterday and so far everything is working very well, there is no freez, no black screens and the battery lasts well.

Thanks for the feedback. I will wait couple of days for others feedback and will then post it on the first thread.

Hmm. I wonder why the new Build.prop works for some and not others. Mine is a standard clean Install of the latest rom, no xposed or anything, but it hangs at the LeEco logo

Unfortunately, my x800 with the new build.prop crashed again last night (black screen, blue LED on, no reaction to anything). I was not even doing anything, the phone was lying on a table, although it is possible that app upgrades were taking place in the background (???)

OK not good, on my x800 its still running without issues 5days by now. I posted both ROM links on the first thread, so that anyone can try and decide V4.2 or V4.2b (with the new intergrated build.prop).
I also don't have installed Xposed Framework anymore. Only ROM, GAPPS and the Audio stuff.

Ok, so i just fresh installed v4.2b and it's getting worse. First, i couldn't get LightFlow to work, i had to install GravityBox and first disable the LED from there. Now, my gyroscope, accelerometer, compass are not working. I read the post where you said about the files in persist/sensors and all are there. Still, it's not working. And the battery life is just horrible. I let it overnight with nothing switched on and with 2g network. I got from 84% to 40%. (i have Greenify/Amplify installed and it's better, but still it's far away from good battery life). Also, the GPS doesn't see any sattelites. And the gyroscope, even though it's working, it's the same as before. Any ideas?

Like I said the only changes from 4.2 and 4.2b are build.prop changes nothing else. And Gyroscope was fixed with changes in V4.2 it should work out of the box now after factory reset wipe.
GPS is also untouched since V4.0. So no clue why some of the Versions behaves completely contrary and get worse for some of us. I would try again the factory reset you handset and when it doesn't work for you then flash some of the other versions that had worked. You could then also try the replace the build.prop with the one in the first page and see if you can get rid of the blue LED and other freezes that I haven't seen by now on my handset for the past 5+ days. For me v4.2 is very stable and a good reason to keep it until we will get hopefully Marshmellow when the kernel sources have been released from LEEco.

I don't have any blue LED issues and i never had those. With any version, i ever had a freeze or a crash. I will try to replace the gps.conf. I did a dalvik cache wipe and the sensors work now, but the gps still doesn't find any sattellites. I calibrated the battery and this night i went from 55% to 52% in about 7 hours. So that improved a lot too.

Hi guys , betahydri's ROM is great I've been reading the last pages and I haven't had most of those bugs it's been 3 months already , but I did notice that the changes in the build.pro gets the phone clunkier , so I wiped everything and re-installed the whole ROM with the changes from 0 and it's been running without any issues

@BetaHydri

It has been 11 days since my previous report, and I am happy to inform that nothing like this has happened since then :fingers-crossed:

No crashes whatsoever, 4.2b ROM looks rock-stable. Congratulations! It is the best x800 US system out there :good:

FYI: I do have Xposed installed.

Just clean installed 4.2b and still have the brightness issue when I lock the phone and wake it up again.
The brightness drops, but the brightness setting doesn't change. As soon as I touch the brightness setting it goes back to the correct brightness again. I'm not using adaptive brightness, I don't like it. Anyone else who doesn't use adaptive brightness having this issue? Kind of annoying to have a really dim screen every time I go to use it.

If I use adaptive brightness it seems to stay at almost full brightness all the time. Battery life is already average, so having full brightness all the time won't help. I like to set brightness manually, but the dimming on sleep issue is no good either.

Edit: Still having issues with adaptive brightness on. The screen is really dim when I fist wake it up and then a few seconds later the brightness jumps up.

Also, most of the time when I push the power button while the phone is on my desk it doesn't wake up, but if I pick it up and press the power button it wakes up every time. Crazy stuff going on :)

Might have to go back to EUI, yuck :(

It's a shame we don't get official CM13, which runs like a dream on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Special Edition :)
