This in kinda very old. Since Android 9 or 8. After 3 days (default) unused apps are disabled. I can add exceptions. This behavior is very good for battery but be sure to add you favorites apps in exception, mainly those who you answer only using the notification buttons. E.g. habit tracker

this is wrong!

the deep sleep is different to the normal apps in standby (sleep) after X days and coming with oneui 2.1 on Android 10!

we already tested and discussed this is Germany. this will temporary disable the apps immediately when closed!
this will also kill the widgets of an app!

really powerfull the new deep sleep (deep standby).

Hi all,

I just found out that in the battery settings, now is the option for putting apps to deep sleep, so they will only run if you use them.
I didn't see it before, so to meet it's new ;)
Thanks so much. I hope this will drastically increase battery life. We'll see...

Now, after a few weeks, did yours drastically increased? Mine didn't, not noticing any difference.
Yeah, not noticing a huge difference in battery life. From what the feature stated, you'd think you'd notice a difference, but no.
