Good evening dear @the_scotsman, please excuse me pushing this again. SHIFT is developing a new modular phone called SHIFTphone8 and I would love to see a separate section for the SHIFTphones here so that users, developers and hackers can discuss their sustainable phones there.View attachment 5571277
Namasté and greetings from Germany to everyone!
Here are wonderful news for all XDA geeks: SHIFT is the first German smartphone producer building fully modular smartphones with a twist: Their smartphones (and soon also fully modular phablets and more) are completely eco friendly. The best part: You can exchange and replace EVERYTHING and completely KEEP your warranty - without any hassle such as bootloader cracking. They even SUPPORT development of Custom OS (running LineageOS 18.1 on my SHIFT6mq)!
I've already sent the hint to the XDA News Team and hope that they will cover it on the XDA main portal soon. SHIFT will revolutionize the smartphone era, for sure. Therefore, please add the main forum for: SHIFT. Thank you ahead for doing so!
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, aka S30 Pro in China, was announced in Steptember, 2022. Any idea why after 4 months there is no forum for this phone while there's one for its sibling Edge 30 Ultra / Motorola Moto X30 Pro, which was announced on the same day? Will forum for Motorola Edge 30 Fusion be added? Or will it never be added?
Any news to add an Edge 30 Fusion forum?I, too, agree that Motorola Edge 30 Fusion / Moto S30 Pro needs its own forum, I already have a problem but nowhere to write about it, I'm looking for best GCam installation for this model and I'd like to discuss few things like baterry or photos with other users.
@x-0D I've removed the link to 4pda from your quoted post!Need Samsung A11 sm-a115f/dsn thread.
All information about this device was missed because there is no forum, but there are orangefox, twrp, gsi, patches, root and device sources over there.
Same thread on 4pda: {Mod edit: Link removed. Oswald Boelcke, Senior Moderator}
I want to unite all related information on it's thread.
Please refrain from sharing of such links in future! Thanks for your cooperation!...
6. Do not post or request warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez nor do we permit members to request, post, promote or describe ways in which warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained or used. This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community.

- Off-site downloads from sites requiring registration are NOT encouraged but may be permitted if both of the following conditions are met:
A) The site belongs to a member of XDA-Developers with at least 1500 posts and 2 years membership, who actively maintains an XDA-Developers support thread(s) / posts, related to the download.
B) The site is a relatively small, personal website without commercial advertising / links (i.e. not a competitor forum-based site with purposes and aims similar to those of XDA-Developers.com.)
I apologise but that's a question I'm unable to answer. Moderators are not at all involved in the decisions or processes regarding new device fora. This solely rests with the forum administrators in close coordination with the website owners.Moderator, I have posted a device section request for Galaxy M23. Should I wait till you guys add it now?
