New feature? Horizontal swiping of the tiles in QS

I just accidentally found out you can swipe horizontally on some tiles. Example: swiping horizontally on WiFi tile will toggle WiFi tethering.

Is this new to KitKat or have I been missing out this whole time?!?

It's not swiping that does it. Just long press the button and it will act as a toggle. I can confirm that this is a stock feature. I'm running factory img rooted.

Scratch that. Only works for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and location

Well, it's swiping horizontally is what I'm talking about. I know about the long press.

That's what I might of thought. Wasn't for sure cause my ROM didn't mention this feature.
