Updating the Xperia Z support page every day... No ROM update for the moment... .253 is a great ROM, but there is room for improvement I think. I am currently running .253 rooted with bloatware removed, and is fine :)

Sony better concentrate and release 4.2.2, v.307 base on 4.1.2 can just direct pass it. No need continue tune the 4.1.2 version.

Is time release 4.2.2....

Later release phone HTC One already get 4.2.2 for USA and global version next 2 weeks. S4 origin start from 4.2.2

Where is Sony now? Your soon after release is far than soon by now, it is few months already, still didn't seen any thing base on 4.2.2 yet!

There is nothing interesting in 4.2.2 that would make the update 'just for the OS' worth it. Sony is however preparing a lot of fun stuff that will probably be released together with the 4.2.2 update. Since they are in no hurry to release 4.2.2 (which is ready and stable), they're waiting for the other new projects to be finished.

This includes, for example, the integration of Music Unlimited in the Walkman app. And some other fun stuff. Probably also the launcher with transparent notification bar/softkeys.

I completely agree with that. Coming from a nexus 4 with 4.2.2 I can say that it's really nothing much there.compared to what we currently have on the Xperia Z. There is a lot of added value on our stock Xperia z ROM.

+1

I saw it also. Nothing special. I just notice fat and slim numbers in clock, nothing else :) and you can rename "desktop" icons.
