I don't know the region, if there is a way to find it please share.

I had this version flashed before: C6603_10.1.A.1.434_SG

Current location: Romania.
Thanks. Looks like you have singaporean region firmware flashed.

EDIT:
Just flashed it, successfully. Everything in working order. Was able to uninstall all provided bloatware and bundled apps. All in all - safe to proceed. Good luck.

Didn't tried ota survival.

I've played with TA backup. (i had a backup made 2 weeks ago)

1. Installed the new FW.
2. Unlock BL
3. Flash this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167381
4. Flashed SU.zip
5. Boot up the system
6. Installed root binaries.
7. Installed BusyBOX
8. dd if=/sdcard/ta-backup.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
9. New FW, Root AND Bravia Engine, DRM keept.
Oh, I don't want to unlock (warranty ...)

Did you use flashtool? Mine just says Device connected in flash mode. Then it waits for a few seconds and the phone reboots and nothing is done..

1. FlashTool
2. BL unlock will void your warranty, but restoring TA will bring BL status to lock state and DRM will remain intact (Be aware that playing with TA can hard brick your device)

did u tried voodo ota keeper to restore it?

ps: no update in greece yet, nor by OTA or by pc companion.
OTA root keeper and supersu survival mode won't work very well if the /system partition is wiped or completely overwritten, which is what the full rom update usually does.

It works on smaller OTA patches because they are literally diff generated patches, which don't wipe the /system partition,

I've downloaded it and when I connect my phone I wait a while, then my phone just disconnects and turns on. :/ :<

are you using flashtool beta6?
when you click to flash the firmware wait till the pop up telling you to connect your phone than connect it by holding vol down.
if this does not work try flashtool beta4.
Okay thanks man will try! :) ... Tried Is there a link for the beta4 because beta 6 isn't working for me :/
