How to Install B387 Update on Huawei P9

Step 1

1) First, download Huawei P9 B387 Update.zip from above and extract it.
2) Now create a folder dload in the root of your SD card and place the update.app file in that folder.
3) Now dial *#*#2846579#*#* from your phone dialer to open a hidden menu.
4) Now select Software Upgrade and start SDCard Upgrade.
5) Now select and run the update.
6) Wait until the installation process is complete and then reboot your device.
7) Done.

Step 2

1) Now download update_data_full_EVA-L09_hw_eu for Huawei P9 from above and extract it.
2) Now copy all data including update.app file in the dload folder.
3) Now dial *#*#2846579#*#* from your phone dialer to open a hidden menu.
4) Now select Software Upgrade and start SDCard Upgrade.
5) Now select and run the update.
6) Wait until the installation process is complete and then reboot your device.
7) Done.

After update, I have some problems, like :
a) ringtones and notifications sound cannot be change in the settings.
b) the old one of HW Themes app is gone; with the new one you cannot change the Themes.

I do hardreset, but nothing changes.
I will try to install both programs again.

If have the same (and/or other) problems, so pls inform, and if available, the solution.

Hi friends,
the firmware B387 has got some big problems, like without changes of ringstone and themes, or without camera etc.
AND with some flashing problems like rollback, I could back now to MM (= L19C185B180) with the rollback firmware of C185. Then I flash to B220. After installing I received the information, that there is a new firmware like B385. I download and flash this. Now working my handy without any problems.

Friends, pls wait with flashing of B387 for L19C185. This firmware has got big problems. I cannot recommend this.

Is there any possibility to reflash B385 along with hw full data to downgrade from B387... Or long route of MM rollback package is must?

Follow hactic route... Rollback to MM... Re back to B387... Works fine now... Theme and calender present now

how u rollback to MM,which version u use and which method, please share

Just used recommended rollback package... Transition key to B900 then flashed MM B220 via dload. Then directly to B387 via ff

Have you tried to remove system cache? I think that will fix it

No i tried before, the only thing work to rollback to MM then upgrade again to Nougat

yes my friend... I'm on vers. B385, and waiting of (new) official firmware.
