The Wifi issues are not 100% fixed. I have problems with connections (5Ghz) with the newest firmware version, too. It's a little bit better than before, but bugs are still there.

Edit: Camera API is still limited and we still get green pics
Were we supposed to get full Camera API2? I thought Sony won't ever give us that feature.

I'm kind of hoping we do with Oreo. I don't expect to see a release for that until nearly christmas tho.

T-Mobile here.

Mine did. Went from 50mbs to 76mbs. good day maybe? but it seems like a rather large jump
Ok seems to be my provider not the phone. On wifi i get the max speed on my phone. Dam i guess T-Mobile sucks in my Area. Switching to AT&T or something else.

I have an international version (shipped from the UK) and last 1 month, I've had this issue of not hearing the other person - the internal speaker/ mic doesn't work. When I restart it gets fixed. When I try the diagnostics, speaker/mic/etc all pass the test.
same issue here. i just restart as a temp fix. just flashed the new firmware will report back if it happens again.

How do you know? Cause I don't see anyone mentioned about it with Xperia XZ1. I don't think Sony will ever provide CameraAPI2 :(

I don't 'know' for sure. Historically it takes about 3-4 months after an official OS release hits the wild before it starts rolling out to existing devices. It's an educated guess based off of existing information.

The camera API2 is a pipe dream, but I'm kind of hoping the XZP gets it because the hardware is nearly identical to the XZ1. while I'm no developer I can't imagine there would be that much of a stretch, short of there being actual hardware limitations.

My G8141 (UK version, using in USA on AT&T) seems to receive the updates on the late side. For example, received .120 on September 4th. Anyone know of any special reason for this delay? Does UK simply receive it later, or could it be something with using the UK phone in USA?

This update actually degraded my WiFi performance by a considerable amount. I used to be able to stream 4K 60 video flawlessly on YouTube, and now it buffers every 10 seconds or so. Downloading apps from the Play Store also takes forever now. As much as I don't want to go through the process, I'm probably going to have to downgrade until the problem is fixed.

I'am looking for the WLan-Call and the VoLTE-function...but I cannot find it?? My model-no. is G8142
VoLTE is a provider specific function and will be integrated in their version fw...

WiFi is dodgy to say the least, SW" for sure and not 137 specific since I had the issues on 120 as well. Oreo will significantly improve this handsets performance in every area, we need to be patient

Yes, before this update my wifi was OK but now after this 45.0.A.7.137 firmware update I have wifi problems. I frequently lose connection even it shows wifi is on. Only turning off wifi and then turning on wifi helps. So, wifi is worse not fixed as they say in update catalog.

Have you done a hard reset by chance? I dont have the update yet, but I have seen hard resets fix some anomalies in the past.
