Just did the update. It says "Improve stability and bug fixes". Not sure what was fixed. So far so good.

Vesion info:
Android Verion: 3.1
Build number: P7510UEKME

Were either of you two rooted? After I pulled the update, my Tab just stayed on a black screen and wouldn't boot at all.

I'm flashing a backup in CWM right now.

My wifi 10.1 updated this morning. No changes noticed. Although a few widgets were removed from my desktop. I tweet @GalaxySsupport to ask for a changelog. No response yet.

I am on StarBurst.8.8.UEKMB with Pershoots 2.6.36.4 kernel from 8/19 (WIFI, VA in US, Rooted, CWM) and can pull down the update. I am not going to install it until I hear it is good for rooted users though.

According to Android Police ...
http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/0...ilable-for-the-samsung-galaxy-tab-10-1-wi-fi/

Samsung just started pushing a small, 3.22MB update to the Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 10.1, most likely to address bugs that were introduced with TouchWiz UX. It's unclear exactly what the update fixes, only that it "improves stability."

I must warn you, though -- I accepted the download on my rooted Tab 10.1 with ClockworkMod recovery, and after the installation was complete, the screen went black (but remained on) and nothing else happened. After waiting for several minutes, I rebooted, only for the same thing to happen again. I was still able to get into ClockworkMod to flash a recent backup, but it was scary nonetheless. If you're rooted and plan to pull this update, then I encourage you to tread carefully.

To see if the update is available to you, head into Settings > About Tablet > Software Update.
Has anyone else had the same problems?
