My tab wants to download a 3.2meg firmware update. Is anyone else getting this? Really dont want to brick my tab.
Stock TW ROM, not rooted. Were either of you two rooted? After I pulled the update, my Tab just stayed on a black screen and wouldn't boot at all.
I'm flashing a backup in CWM right now.
No root for me stock touchwiz. Applied the update and no problems so far. Were either of you two rooted? After I pulled the update, my Tab just stayed on a black screen and wouldn't boot at all.

Has anyone else had the same problems?Samsung just started pushing a small, 3.22MB update to the Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 10.1, most likely to address bugs that were introduced with TouchWiz UX. It's unclear exactly what the update fixes, only that it "improves stability."
I must warn you, though -- I accepted the download on my rooted Tab 10.1 with ClockworkMod recovery, and after the installation was complete, the screen went black (but remained on) and nothing else happened. After waiting for several minutes, I rebooted, only for the same thing to happen again. I was still able to get into ClockworkMod to flash a recent backup, but it was scary nonetheless. If you're rooted and plan to pull this update, then I encourage you to tread carefully.
To see if the update is available to you, head into Settings > About Tablet > Software Update.
