I'm not sure if anyone has posted this already but I noticed that the Moto X camera.apk in the latestest Nexesque rom was very different from the Moto X cam apks I'd seen floating around xda and other forums.
This particular apk lets me rotate the option wheel all the way to the end without cutting off and has an 16:9 image option.

Slow-Mo and Panorama still don't work.

Here's the apk and a few screenshots.

Edit: Moto X camera APK that was released today by Motorola on play store. (10/31/2013)

Edit 2: Moto X Camera odex (ver. 3.1.41) taken directly from the Moto X 4.4 KitKat OTA released today. (11/19/2013)

Lol. Sorry about that, I'm running Ad block plus didn't noticed the ads.
Check back in a bit I'll rehost the files.

@larsjameson

can you please tell us something about your installing procedure.

As for me the settings shown in you OP were not available I tried all kinds of installation like moving to /system/apps in combination with wiping cache and dalvik, and lots of reboots, without success.

any idea?

thanx

The latest Moto X camera apk released yesterday has not worked for me on CM 10.2, but it has worked for a few of my friends running stock 4.1.2.

The older one I posted before does work on CM 10.2 though. To install I simply moved the apk to system>app> using FX Explorer and rebooted.

Edit: The settings in the OP pictures are activated when you press on the lady bug icon in the bottom right corner.

For me on stock 4.1.2 it's conversely:
1st apk is not installable
2nd works fine, but has no 'ladybug' with further setting

Is the 1st for android >4.2,
the 2nd 4.1 and lower?

I have the same problem as you bgumble... only difference is that I'm not rooted or bootloader unlocked...

Slow Mo Videos works fine, just as with the stock camera.

Now, the problem here is that nobody use the stock gallery wihch actually reproduces slow mo videos, instead everybody seems to use the android gallery, and that gallery doesnt have slow mo video play.

Great app, very simple but funcional.

Almost perfect! When i touch to shoot the camera app crash and the picture don't save. The slow-mo feature now works... but inverse! It makes the video speed up.

The Slow Mo after the update works in the stock rom, also HDR.

The new version crash with everything.
