Like I said, I have NOT received it on my sensation but my wife received it on her MyTouch 4G. Don't remember if it was here or another thread but someonkge said their niece received on her sensation. And yes Google is supposed to be pushing this from my understanding.

I like the new Market, its much better than the old one. People will get used to it and wil like it, well they have no choice really lol. But honestly its better!

What do you mean there's no choice?

Anyone has a "choice" to stay with the previous version.

All you need to do is freeze "market updater" using TiBu, and then you can keep the current market for as long as you want. Unfreeze if you ever change your mind.

Also if you are already on the new market and want to go back, just to settings - manage applications - market - uninstall updates.

"Choose" the market that you want... :)

Select "Market" -"uninstall updates"

TiBu = Titanium Backup = Probably the greatest Android app ever made... :)

Well my wife and my cousin both received it automatically. As I stated earlier my wife didn't even realize she had it.
How did you update if manually? I checked for Google updates through the phone but there wasn't any.
Do your wife and cousin have sensations?

But the point was getting the .apk from someone that received it automatically on their Sensation. I manually installed the new one on my G2x, Nexus S, and Nexus 1. All of which were slow and freezing. I was hoping to get it from someone that received it automatically to see if that fixed the issues. So again, no, it doesn't help at all.
If you had read the article I directed you to and the top two comments you'd see that the source is from someone who got the OTA install, extracted it, and uploaded it.

Took all of a few minutes.

So yes, it did help.

Edit: The APK floating around is probably for every phone out there. I am not aware of device-specific market applications, but I could be wrong.

Edit #2: Here's a link to the new 3.0.27 version if anyone is having trouble finding it. The author tested it on his Sensation: http://androidcommunity.com/new-android-market-3-0-27-rolling-out-now-20110726/

Thanks for posting the link. To be honest, for whatever dumb reasons, I was hoping to get it pushed automatically, but will probably just install the apk. I wonder what google's problem is with the senstion and why they arent sending it to sensations? Some kind of conspiracy theory? :)

Yeah, I feel ya. Feeling a little discriminated against lol.
I'll do a little more searching before I give up and manual install. Not even sure why I really want the ora update.

Its been almost a month since Google started pushing out the market. Do you think they just forgot about the sensation? I think just about every other device got it by now.
