**NEW** Native Hotspot hack for Sprint LG G3

I am having a similar issue to as others, I'm on barecee-zvc I edit my settings but have no option for wifi tethering afterwards, I install a tethering widget, I can activate tethering and see the wifi network from my laptop, but I cant get to the tethering settings on my phone, which makes the wifi a generic name like lgg3-3435 and it has a pass key on it i don't know. Anyone have a work around for this?

Strange.... I'm currently on BareCee-ZVC v2 and have successfully set up tethering utilizing this method, as well as still having access to turning on WiFi Tethering from my G3 Settings menu (Settings > Wireless Networks > More). I've also successfully set and utilize a Power Toggles widget to turn WiFi tethering on and off. So, I'm not sure why you're having an issue with your BareCee-ZVC installation.

Yes I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong I have never been able to hack the tethering into my g3s I have tried multiple times between wipes and with two different g3s I just use cm to get tethering. To bad since I miss the sweet stock camera

FYI. It works perfectly on my G3 ls990 on the boost mobile/Sprint network with No problems but make sure when you power it down at night to turn off the WiFi hotspot otherwise you'll have to reset the configurations again. ?

i did this and read every other thread concerning wifi hotspot/tethering but i not only is the "APN type" unavailable in the first place, i cannot edit any of the APN settings without a service code. there's a popup when i hit "edit" instead of "view" after launching the hidden menu from shortcut master.
anyone have this service code or know how to get around this?
