New nexus one with awful color banding

Well i got a nexus one in fantastic condition on ebay the other day and its near perfect i havr bad color banding issues EVERYWHERE.any ideas?

is it rooted and if so what rom is on it

i only ask since the latest texasice ics rom has what sounds like that--hw related

I threw it on QND's MIUI...

Haven't ran that one, but never an issue with other MIUI's

If it only started with MIUI, try CM7


Otherwise it's the phone, I would presume--

Could be something with VM Heap setting or Overclocking--but not sure if that would have anything to do with banding--
