New OTA still at 4.0.4

My sod seems to be fixed. I'm on 1 day 9 hours since last charged and so far no sod. I was hoping for 4.1.2 but better then nothing I guess.

Im pretty sure att has killed the phone using updates (I think they are scared they will make their customers more mad, by making a ROM with worse battery life than their last one, which, seems to be there trend.

Im staying with 2.3.6 until I have can flash ShoStock 3. Too many horror stories about sleep locks, dropped calls, and battery life on ics.

Shostock3 2.6 is a solid rom you will love it. Been running these Roms since 1.7

As much as I would have prefered this update to be JB, I'm glad that it addresses the SOD. It's about time, AT&T! For months now I've been missing important calls and messages. And by "rare occasion", do you mean, 5 to 6 times daily?

The good news, I downloaded the update on Friday and have not experienced any unresponsive idles or shutdowns.

Samfirmware now has the new 4.0.4 listed as well. Don't have to switch back to a stock firmware to get it now.

Got 2 more SODs after the update. (Never even had 1 before 4.0.4). Now rooted and on a Alliance rom.

Exynos?

Can anyone confirm or deny that this latest update patched the exynos security hole? I just upgraded from UCKK6 to UCLL6 and tried ExynosAbuse with no luck. The app claims the phone is exploitable, patch at boot is disabled, and I did not click the "one-click secure exploit patch", but when I "tap to root" it doesn't ask for superuser permission and then fails.

LL6 , did a factory reset after the update. It happens once a day or every other day.

*Solved* After replicating issue on Android tablet, I deleted and readded NS email. No more errors.

*UPDATE* - Pretty sure it's a connection with Network Solutions email server.

Didn't have any major issues before the update. Now, my email stops working about five times an hour. I'm not ready to root yet, so does anyone have any suggestions on diagnosis? Thanks in advance!

Can anyone tell me if this update will lock my phone like UCLK3 did ....I'm outside US and I had to spend 3 bucks to unlock it last time :S

Unknown. But you should be able to unlock for free with GalaxSim Unlock downloaded from the developers XDA thread.

Thanks for your reply ... last time I used GalaxSim Unlock from google play and had to pay about 3 bucks to unlock it... anyway ... I'll try this "fix" and if I need to unlockit, I'll use this app from the developers thread.
