Is that an app or a feature that I am not aware of? I'm running stock OS.UPDATE:
Blue Light Filter solves the burn in issue even on 5%.
It's an app by hardy-infinity. Thr obly downside is that you need to disable it when giving apps new permissions (just a tap on the persistent notification). Is that an app or a feature that I am not aware of? I'm running stock OS.
Thanks! I'll give it a try. My G5 does have ghosting issues, and you can clearly see it then tying on whatsapp for a bit then hiding the keyboard. Never really bothered me enough to go through the process of replacing and restoring all my stuff, but if this app can do some good, why notIt's an app by hardy-infinity. That still depends. I got 605 and my phone has no problem at all.So is this confirmed then? If I got a 609 or 610 I should have no ghost in my screen? I bought a used one from ebay and used gps/drove for 2-3 hours today and boy was that spotify icon showing.... I really love this phone and just want the screen to be flawless.
Yeah, see I drove for 3 hrs and the brightness was up. I went to a gray image 2-3 hours later and the Spotify app was burned in, same with buttons. Ahhhhhhhh this is so tough..... Risky G5 or Oneplus 3That still depends. I got 605 and my phone has no problem at all.![]()

But from that logic, it would mean that the first branches of the G5 came with a non LG display, which I don't believe can be true. Especially how LG advertised it with their own quantum-dot display technology. Maybe they stopped producing the display after how bad the G5 sold, and how units come with a display from a different manufacturer. Every IPS (all my IPS devices show really fast burn in depending on the contrast) panel has soft burn in btw. It's just a matter of brightness and most people use too high brightness I guess with their G5.Maybe is only two different suppliers as G4. The brighntess and color are different between LGD and JDI (first better), but both affected by ghost screen.
Also considering that 609 have only two months is impossible to conclude that problem was solved.

It only means two different displays were compared, from G2, LG sold both from beginning and in G4 really have a difference between them (and we are talking about IPS quantum in G4), so maybe also have a difference in G5, video doesn't show production date of the phone or panel ID specification (I think, because couldn't stand to watch all). Anyway my display is much brighter than LGD G4. Yours is bad as the video ?But from that logic, it would mean that the first branches of the G5 came with a non LG display, which I don't believe can be true. No, my display is bright as the core of the sun, even at 40% it's awesome. It's totally nothing like the top one in the video. If I put mine on 0% though it looks like the top in the video. could you please make a review to help us about the burn in in your phone and your sister's phone?I can confirm this! I got a 603 G5 and my sister just got a 610 G5! Her screen is slightly brighter and it has a slightly warmer colors (compared both screens on a white image, mine looked more blueish). Well, sucks for me I guess! But I don't care more than that, won't get mine replaced or anything. And yes mine has ghosting too, but not big deal to me.
