personally, I have the paid version and also encourage others to get it... I found it worth the 4$ and thought it'd be nice to kick that into the cause. However he's right, CM is free and he has every right not to pay for it as well. that's why it's an optional purchase. =pTried loading test 2 twice, both times wiping the cache. I get stuck at the X boot screen...it just loops.

I bought CM back when i was on moto droid because it had like 20 roms, can't wait for the DINC to have all that on CM

Ironically, while installing test 2 through ROM Manager resulted in a loop of the X boot animation, installing through recovery worked just fine. I installed gapps FRF91 separately.
As stated, installing through recovery works fine. You don't need to install gapps, it looks like its already included in ver2. Any one have ver3? I don't see it in rom man anymore.

Can you tell me the differences between test 1 2 and 3?
I don't think there was a list of differences posted. My guess is he was just dickin with them last night and couldn't remember which was the working one so just threw them all up there to quiet us vultures down
probably only minimal differences, but I'm not sure.So... installed Test 2 through Rom Manager, no go. Re-installed through Recovery, and it boots fine, but clicking the Android to start setup does nothing except turn him white while I press... Rebooted twice, now cleared and installing a 3rd time... I'll let you know. Anyone else have the setup problem?

I am running Test 2. So far so good except Slingplayer won't launch. It closes itself right away...
I'm using the test 2, and it seems to be working fine right now.

Has anyone tried to use the USB tether function? I gave it a shot just now thinking it might work since the built-in wireless tethering was fixed but it didn't work for me. I've never actually seen it work though so I don't know if it's a driver issue on my PC or the phone.

that looks too low for my taste, im enjoying my skyraider desensitized but am looking forward to see where this goes. Hopefully the official froyo update will be released in the next 1-2 weeks as rumored. Then we can expect some really incredible roms
