Teclast X10 3G 16GB

Hi to all especially to ghost45
You had modified in the past my EBR's for a Cube UT65 32GB
I have a new Teclast X10 3G MTK 8392 with 16GB space.
It had only 1 GB internal memory and about 12GB internal storage.
Is it possible to modify me EBR1 and EBR2 to split the space 6BG and 6GB .
I sent you my EBR1 and EBR 2 files
Thnaks in advance

PLEASE HELP _/\_!!!!! An Earnest Request to This thread

First of all a hearty apology for being an unwanted guest in this valuable thread. But after struggling for almost 1 & half months, I ended up here. And after seeing that,as i belong to MT6582 device[ MICROMAX CANVAS A1(aq4501) with 1GB ram & 4GB internal memory ] [Also known as Google Android ONE] is now dead. I can only access my device's stock recovery, custom TWRP recovery which i accessed via adb commands from my PC. Now I should come to the point without wasting time...

1. What i did--- My Canvas A1 was running on marshmallow 6.0.1 with september security patch. To remove some bloatware i rooted it according to the procedure stated by XDA CANVAS A1 ROOTING VIA CMD. After rooting i removed the bloatwares (Google+, Play Movies, Play Books, Hangout) by an app from Play Store named SYSTEM APP REMOVER. After all this things, my device was running very smoothly without any kind of problems and lags. Yesterday I installed NOVA Launcher and while opening the for 1st time, it asked for root access. I granted it. No problem occurred. Today morning while one my friend gave me the EXODUS rom & asked me to install it. I learned the procedure from XDA earlier, and i have done it numerous times of flashing ROMs, kernels etc. So i rebooted my device to TWRP(3.0.2-2) via CMD with the command FASTBOOT BOOT RECOVERY.IMG

2. What exactly Happened--- Under TWRP, to wipe my device, i selected advance options & selected everything except EXT SD. and swiped to wipe. After completion of swipe, the following errors are written in RED FONT

a) [E] FAILED TO MOUNT /SYSTEM[ Invalid Argument ]
b) [E] FAILED TO MOUNT /DATA[ Invalid Argument ]
c) [E] FAILED TO MOUNT /CATCHE[ Invalid Argument ]

When i went inside the mount option in TWRP, I found that there is an option of change or repair file system. After pressing the option, it showed like this--

PRESENT: YES REMOVABLE: NO
TOTAL SIZE: 0MB USED SIZE: 0MB
FREE SIZE: 0MB
FAILED TO REPAIR ERROR:7

Aoson M102T 10.1 Tablet

Hi All
I tried to do all steps from Here and also found the steps in the following video link

I have a 10.1 tablet (Aoson m102T) it supposed to have MTK8382 but when checked with droid tools i found it is fake and the actual processor is MTK6582 and 1GB Ram + 16 GB ROM
i downloaded the file " ebr-mtk6582-kitkat-4gb.rar" when i download scatter file i have a checksum error i modified the file " Checksum.ini" and turned off checksum the file loaded ok but when download to the tablet the tablet stuck in logo and won't boot i downloaded the original ebr back it works again without a problem
All steps done well. i faced a problem first with checksum error

ZTE Blade HN (V993W) Movilnet Venezuela

Greetings, I have a ZTE V993w device with a MediaTek 6582 processor with 8 GB of ROM and the has 0.89 GB internal storage for another GB phone storage or another internal space that brings the phone and other 8 GB I have in an SD now what I want to do is put those GB that brings default as internal space for apps because with 0.89 GB I do not see enough to install applications and not If this memory repartition method is in line with this device. Without more to say I leave this query to see if I can help increase that 0.89 GB that brings the phone and so you can enjoy more space. Thank you.

say yes to the format procedure

PROCEDURE:

1)You can flash or together the original firmware !
copy and replace the original ebr 1 and 2 and flash with flashtool together the firmware and make (firmware upgrade) !

2) After on the firmware that was preinstalled .. ...always using flashtool !
If you flash after the installation of the original firmware ...you can select only the two file ebr 1 and 2 ..and make download....... but you clear your custom on your phone!

In some situations that is not a bug...but is that after flash the ebr 1 and 2 the second partition must be formatted from the pc!

1) connect the phone to the pc with usb cable
2) Accept the to run on the usb storage in quick menu
3) In this moment the pc recognize the first partition....but we must enter on file manager or resources of the pc and click on the secondary storage!
4) The pc recognize that this secondary storage or partition is not formatted and says :Do you want to format this partition?
5) Say yes to the format procedure!

And this is all !
bye:good::laugh:
I sy yes to the format procedure, and do nothibg... how i can format the internal SD

same problem here. What am I doing wrong? MT 6582

Hi Ghost, thank you.. I followed the procedure on first page as best as I could understand, but it has failed.

1) Replace the original EBR1 + EBR2 with modified ones.
2) Start SP FLASH Tool
3) Select Scatter file
4) ONLY tick EBR1 and EBR2
5) Click Download
6) Connect USB cable to Phone
7) Red progress bar - then Yellow Progress bar finish with Green OK window

When I ON the phone it is stuck on Boot screen. I had to remove battery after long time, and then I re-flash originaL EBR and the phone is working.

Is my process in-correct?
This is MT 6582 Samsung clone Tab 2 P3100
running KitKat 4.4.2
I tried to flash with proper EBRs for 10GB for 8GB for 6GB alway stuck on logo. Flashing with original EBRs brings tablet back but with 2GB partition.

Probably the mistake is in the ebrs not correct for your device.... I have made the mods of many devices but is not possible for every kind of device... Probably you have a different device..

Thank you for fast response. I suspected that. Is there any guide how to edit EBR files? What editor are you using? Are you editing based on original EBRs or based on scatter.txt? Maybe it would be enough to edit scatter or should I edit EBRs and scatter?
I found this editor:
EBR editor from freaktab
What do you think about it.
Thank you.

For whoever is still interested. To edit EBR files I used EBR Changer ver 4 from:
freaktab
The trick with this editor is:
If it shows your userdate properly in my case should be 2048MB you are Ok just change to whatever number you need and save them.
In my case it was showing 934 MB instead of 2048 MB. In that case I just multiplied 4x934 and put that number as what I want. That gave me 8GB of userdata as I had 2GB to start.
Good luck.

The ebr files are too old and not are right for the new devices....!
Post your ebrs files and give the information of your device, like the total ram installed and what are the total of the internal memories are divided

FYI MT6582 is MT8382 MT65xx are optimised for phones and MT83xx is optimised for tablets. (It is not FAKE!)But MT8382 is based on MT6582 their firmwares are NOT interchangeable. I belief you guys thought that by changing ebr you can change the size of the primary partn that easily? MTK devices are a fickle bunch if you don't have enough experience experimenting. A Lenovo MT6582 can easily be rooted using Kingoroot but on Oppo MT6582 is impossible to root using Kingoroot, understand that simple comparison and you know that just changing ebr doesn't change partn. Sometime you get lucky but most of the time fails.
