After using it for about 2 weeks, I think this does help with receiving calls in low signal area. It also helps with the battery life strangely.
i do agree... and it doesn't show fake signal... with my latest radio my phone always had signal but actually it was unreachable...

Dutch Vodafone, HTC Legend.

I have an standaard HTC Legend (black) with radio rom :
47.51.35.17U_7.13.35.05

As far as i can see, the radio ROM discussed here is newer.

With my current ROM i find that Vodafone has a bad reception.
Some times no signal. with another SIM in the fone, from another profider the reception is better.
I have found a tweak that improves the signal some what, letting the Legend shift down from H to G and even GPRS.
Link : http://brianhealy.net/2010/11/a-fix-for-htc-legends-poor-signal-on-vodafone/

But stil, on some parts in the house no signal, and with my old HTC Diamond 2 there was no problem (Same SIM)

So i am wondering if this ROM is ok to use, and if not, how to go back to the original.

Hi, can this Radio be used on a UK (GSM) Legend?

Thanks...
I have just flashed this on a UK (Orange) Legend and all is well. I tried placing a call too.
CM7 Nightly build #85
I flashed from the recovery menu in CM 2.5.0.7 recovery. I didnt have the old recover any more as I use CMW3, but it is here --> http://mirror.sea.tdrevolution.net/cm/recoveries/ - I just downloaded it and chose that update.zip from CWM3
The phone rebooted on the splash screen 3x after the update and then booted normally.
I have full signal and 3G/HSDPA.
I always have great signal at work, and it will be interesting to test at home, but this radio does work on a GSM UK Legend.

I see 10/10 satellites with 7.13.35.13. Cell reception seems as good as before. Wifi is also good. I do have one issue though, maybe its my carrier: I do not have any data on my Legend. I am running Blayo's 0.8.4 which I updated tonight, along with this new radio. It just says "turning on" under mobile network setting, and yes, I disabled wifi to make sure data would turn on. Anyone have an idea?

You have to configure your APN settings for this. Go under Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names (APNs).

Google your APN settings for you carrier if you can't find it on their website.

I've flashed this ratest radio.
GPS seems to lock and unlock constantly. (i can see that in waze gps app when driving around)
Someone else have seen this too?
I don't see an improvement for the cellular signal strenght.
I'll return to radio version 47.51.35.17U_7.13.35.05
