Have you been missing AOKP? Let's say Hello to Sonic Open Kang Project, LP 5.1.1 r33.

1. Rom compiled with the latest UBERTC tool chain
2. Kernel (modified M5) compiled with UBERTC 5.2.1 tool chain (including the latest Sony commits - video drivers)
3. My usual hardened features including no Selinux
4. Full network options in menu
5. Sanitized webview without spying IP and DNS addresses
6. January 16 security patches
7. Newest Sony blobs including touch firmware

SOKP features:

1. Real TRDS switch for a true dark experience
2. Numerous AOKP features including Performance Control, animations
3. Usual LP features
4. SOKP HD sound
5. Wakelock blocker, Call blocking, Privacy Guard
6. Three finger gestures
7. Floating windows
8. Pie control, App circle bar
9. CPU info on screen

Install Instructions:

1. Unlocked, bootloader, TWRP, Root
2. In TWRP wipe System/Cache/Data/Dalvic
3. Flash the rom; flash SU and reboot

Kernel does NOT have TWRP, so, use recovery in Fota/Recovery partition.

How is the camera?
It works; expect the same camera quality as any other CM or AOSP based ROMS on the forums (except Marshmallow ROMs, which won't start the camera due to missing blobs).
Can I install multirom's TWRP?
You could have multirom's TWRP, but you can't multiboot. Multiboot puts a security hole on a device (optimumpro's ROM goals are maximum security with minimal anonymous data sending).

Hi @optimumpro another great work! I'm going to try this ROM tonight and report back.

Just one question, kind of off topic but do you ever consider in making a stock based ROM hardened and with some custom goodies (like slim recents, pie control, etc)?

I believe that it would be really popular with the users. I know that you seek security and stability above everything (and i appreciate this), so is this possible?

Best regards.

For some reason could not make connectivity work. I connected to wifi, but could not reach anything. Same with cellular data. There was that exclamation mark at all times (both wifi and cell). Logcat attached if you would like to take a look...

Guys. You have to make sure captive portal is off in settings. Also, there is a guide on how to set it up properly in one of my threads: either DU, Jaguar or Tesla. Basically, you need to turn on airplane mode, then remove CaptivePortal.apk from system, then reset wifi and data. Also, if you are using Afwall, make sure you set it before you connect to data or wifi. In firewall settings: preference/user interface, make sure Lan control is unticked. Then reboot the phone and you should have data.

I have no problems with WIFI and DATA, but I do have a problem with making phone calls: right after I push dial button, I get a message Cellular Network Not Available and then it resets. Can anyone confirm the same?

I tried that. Unfortunately, that means I can't login with my Google account, which basically makes gapps useless. Also, my contacts aren't synced, so gapps are a necessity for me.

I can also confirm your RIL bug.

EDIT: Turns out the captive portal thing didn't help. The ! Is gone, but still no internet access to any website.

Captive portal is not needed for Google account and gapps. Are you by any chance using AFwall? Try to allow android system internet access and see if you get data internet. Also, try the following commands via adb or through terminal on the phone (with root):
settings put global captive_portal_server 127.0.0.1
settings put global captive_portal_detection_enabled 0

Reboot and set data and wifi.

Regarding RIl: I don't have the rom on my Z1. I tried to debug the issue once, but it may be related to Ubertc tool chain. Some folks say you don't even get modem with that chain. Could someone post a fresh logcat while trying to make a phone call?

Sorry, that didn't work. Still don't have internet connection.
Here's the log for RIL failure.

Regarding data: check your carriers apn settings: they may be different from that in rom's list. If they are, set up the access point manually.

Reggarding rild: that is the culprit:

I/DEBUG ( 365): #00 pc 0001236e /system/lib/libc.so (strlen+173)
I/DEBUG ( 365): #01 pc 000da393 /system/vendor/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so (qcril_qmi_voice_request_dial+4494)
I/DEBUG ( 365): #02 pc 003e537c /system/vendor/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so

Sony has recently updated vendor libs. I have tried the old ones to no effect. The other reason is libc.so: I have tried the one from another rom to no effect either.

That leads me to believe that UBERTC chain may be at issue. Anyone else who knows development is welcomed to suggest another reason for this...

That doesn't explain why internet access doesn't work via WiFi...the problem still exists.
