There's a bar code, and a note to Bookseller: "Swipe the Member card. Scan NOOK HD or HD+ then scan the coupon". Might be worth it to become a member, if you can get a few friends who want nooks, split up the cost... I can't remember what it cost to become a member, $25? $50?
I think what he is saying is this offer is for B&N book club members only. You can join for an annual fee. I don't know if joining now entitles you to the offer. You might call them and ask.

Yeah, I got that part. Was hoping maybe the OP had a link or scan of the coupon or something. I'd gladly spend the $25 if the promo is legit.

Just joined. Local B&N store knows nothing about coupon. They said they thought it was a targeted mailing by B&N. I will call member support.

Based on what I heard it seems to be a targeted offer. (not sure about criteria) I signed up for a trial membership around 5/9 when I bought the Nook HD+. No coupons for me. Some other paid member also said he did not receive any coupon. On the other hand, another said he successfully get customer services to adjust the price online by giving his membership number.
Do you need another HD+ since you already have two?
Thanks a lot for the CM10.1 stuffs. It's working really well on my Nook HD+. It's not 100% perfect but probably 99%. The experience is far better than stock although slightly less smooth than a Nexus 7. But for the screen and price, it's perfectly okay to me.

Dang!!! I had gotten a HD+ 32GB during the Mother's Day Promo of 209....that was 90 bucks off the normal price...now an even bigger drop in price...they must have ALOT of stock that they are trying to move....which means either they are trying to draw in more customers to move the stock...or they have something new coming out

That is why I bought 5. It said coupon could only be used once per customer, so I could not go back and add more later. But it made it sound like other customers could use it. It changed the code from the one in the picture to another shorter coupon code. I wish I had written it down. I tried just now backing up, but it is gone. Either way its a sick price for a nice device. Just found a Sero 7 Pro at my local walmart for the same price. Superior to the Nook and rivals the nexus 7 I think its my next project.

For other people interested in getting a bargain on the nooks, I'd highly recommend ebay. I got my 32GB HD+ for $174.50 a month or so ago. You have to be a bit patient, since a lot of them seem to be selling for nearly the full price, but if you persist, you can probably get a good deal.
