How do you use the Xperia keyboard? It's been disabled on Playstore for Xz premium

Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
I can switch to Xperia Keyboard in keyboard settings on my Xperia XZ1 Compact, I never install that after I got my phone. Probably you only need to change keyboard without install it under: Language & input > On-screen keyboard > Manage keyboard

Quick question - since the update to OREO... has anyone noticed that Wifi issue is back again? I have two WIFI access points at home but my G8141 kept on locked onto one and refuse to switch over to the stronger one. The last Nougat update sort of fixed the wifi issue, but now it seems like its back again. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, pealse, what is the new dialer? I need one that manages groups and the only one pretty decent I've found so far is ZenUI Dialer
I used to use the ZenUI dialer but after the Oreo update it stopped working for me and nothing I do helps....however, the default built in dialer/contacts app has the ability to manage groups...they are called labels.

Mhmm... sorry but no, the default built in dialer/contacts app has the ability to show labels/groups (in contact details), but it cannot manage them. For example: the contacts app shows all the people I have, no matter the group they belongs, it's a ridicolous useless mess!

I use ZenUI dialer, but, in effect, it don't work flawlessly: it has "the app is running in background" notification all the time, and it has not the lost calls dot...

I am not sure what it is that you are trying to accomplish...I can sort by label/group, I can add and delete contacts from each group, I can create new groups, or even delete entire groups...what is missing for you?

Sorry, are we speaking about the same app?
My dialer app has three tab: preferities, calls, and contacts. In the contacts tab there are all my contacts, no matter the group they belong. I need to have only "personal contacts" in my contats tab and also a group tab, exactly like in my old phone.

OK, let's say you open the phone dialer. AT the top are three tabs...a STAR which equals your frequent contacts/calls. The second tab is an icon of a clock...this is your most recent call list. The third tab is the contacts icon...now when you tap this icon all your contacts show up. Now when you're on this screen if you tap the three dots in the upper right corner you will see a choice for "Advanced contacts". When you tap on this it basically opens the contacts app that is in the app drawer. Now you will see in the upper left three horizontal bars...tap on these and you will now see all the various features of the contacts app like I mentioned previously. Is this not what you have??

Now if you want to show only certain groups when you open your contacts then click on the three horizontal bars, then go to settings, then you will see an option called "Contacts to display" and in here you can pick and choose which ones will display based on group membership.

Certainly there are third party contacts apps that do things differently but for me the default app does all I could ever need.
