Hi.
I've started following this guide: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Porting
Here is my progress:

What else is needed to get it boot?

Initialize the repo

I know, but we shouldn't modificate that.

You are going to need a few more kernel changes that aren't in the guide to get it to boot. Have fun and good luck though .

First succesfull build.

Ubuntu touch comes ino files.
The first one:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-to.../current/saucy-preinstalled-phablet-armhf.zip

The second one:
http://d-h.st/JLd

Please test them, but note that Ubuntu Touch for Galaxy S Plus is provided with no warranty. You are installing this software at your own risk. You may be violating your warranty.

Flash them in this order.
Perhaps you'll need cm10.1 before starting flashing anything, and perhaps you'll have to wipe everything. (source: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2188621)
There's no warranty that it'll boot!
I didn't test it.

Edit: he sad it boots, but after some seconds the device powers off.

Yeah, first one is Ubuntu, the second one device related.

Yes. The first one is prebuilt, the second one isn't.
