Get MMS to send!!!!
After several days and trying lots of different things, I finally got MMS to send!!! You have to use GO SMS Pro though. It seems that the APN settings don't have the info for the MMS to send, and you can't add a new apn or edit the existing one:
So here's what I did to get MMS sending:
1) Download and install Go SMS Pro from the play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jb.gosms&hl=en
2)Using a file explorer, go to root/system/etc and change all the mmsc lines in the apns-conf.xml file to this, where the red box is your number with area code, don't need the 1 in front of it. Make sure to save changes.:
mmsc="http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms?X-VZW-MDN=5555555555"
where the 5555555555 is your phone number
3)Reboot phone
4)Disable notifications from the stock messaging app
5)Open Go SMS Pro, then go to settings, advanced, mms settings
6)Under APN Configuration, check the box and enter this info into the MMSC box:
http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
Leave the proxy box empty
Next enter this into the MMS port box:
80
7)Reboot phone and profit. After you reboot, the APN settings in Go SMS Pro should look like this, with the info in the red box matching the line you edited in the apns-conf.xml:
Now you should be able to send MMS using Go SMS Pro!!!! Also double check that the port is set to 80.
Good luck and hope this helps!!!!!!!!!
