I was suggested to come here to root my Kindle Fire 2nd Gen.

However, several things didn't seem right. First, when I tried to install the driver (Windows 10), it didn't work.
I opened cmd, did what the guide said, but after hitting 1 and enter on the first menu, another selection (0 or 1) came up. I tried both options, but neither did anything.
If anyone could help me get this going or point me to a more detailed guide or something, I would greatly appreciate it.
