So I am getting a samsung galaxy s 3 in the mail any day now...

I plan on rooting it and throwing a custom rom on it as soon as it

comes out of the box :) thing is I am coming from the EVO3D. I

want to know which is the best/stable/great battery life type of rom

for it out there, I have a Sprint SGS3 btw. I rele want Jellybean but

the EVO3D has nothing close to anything stable right now but the

sgs3 is a lot newer so maybe they have jellybean by now :/ IDK any

feed back would be much appreciated :)

Thanks :p

I ran PhantomHacker's Blazer ROM for the first month I owned my SGS3, and then I switched to StrongSteve's Odexed Blue. I personally feel SS's ROM has provided a smoother, more battery efficient, and generally more pleasant UI than PH's. Nothing against Blazer ROM, I enjoyed the month I had it running; however I have much better battery life and I am very pleased with SS's attention to detail, aggressive updates, and it seems he relies a lot on user feedback in his thread.

Be warned though - You've gotta have an affinity for blue! He is pretty aggressive at completely erradicating all signs of any yellow, green, or anything non-blue'ish in hue. I personally love it, but it may not be the theme for everyone.

I am currently running version 4.6 based on 4.0.4 Android, LG8, with an LEN modem. He has recently commented that he will not move to JellyBean until an official OTA comes out, as he doesn't work off of leaks or unofficial releases. So, I am hoping that means we'll see an Odexed Blue JB edition sometime in the upcoming weeks. I personally am content to wait for an official JB ROM myself, rather than doing the "nightly" flash dance.

I'd also recommend viewing the video reviews done by qbking77, on YouTube. He has reviewed several different ROMs, including CM10, and he does an install video tutorial for each one, if he finds it to be qualified as a daily driver.

I like blue but strong Steve's ROM scheme is just not my cup of tea

They are all good just try them
