new to verizon s5

currently im using verizon s4 mdk stang verison. i had a verzion s5 given to me the other day i have tried to read some threads on the s5
and im not sure if i should try to root this s5 with baseband at bog5 or keep using the s4 i guess in words is it a PITA to try and root
etc the S5

Bog5 can't be rooted or downgraded
