Can someone put together what they found that isn't working?

Edit: Flashing it from 2.51 atm, going to try it alone.

Edit2: It booted without bootloop!! Doing the configuration atm, going to check things and after it, i am going to try to flash it without wipe :)

I had problems booting into recovery.
Problem was solved by turning of usb debugging.
GPS seems to find sats quicker now.
US version of navigation was odd. google called trafic island's road circles. lol
Camera works fine.

is it just the bottom keys that dont vibrate or does the phone no longer vibrate when receiving calls, messages etc aswell
It just vibrated when i was turning it off to get back to 2.51 xD, so i guess it is only the keys :)

Edit: I think this is undowngradable, can't get back to 2.51, black screen...

I installed via the .sbf, did a wipe via stock recovery afterwards and to be honest this seems to work great.

GPS is working 100% (phew this is important to me)
Camera and Flash 100%
Really liking the MOBiDIV keyboard (better than the gingerbread ones i've been using previously).
Non of the usual unwanted bloat apps included either! (ok it has motoblur, but i quite like that. Might use zeam launcher or just keep it as it is).

Feels very smooth and not at all laggy even without doing any over clocking.

With the exception of the haptic feedback on the 4 buttons at the bottom of the screen this one looks to be just the job for me!

(im sure one of the very clever guys on the forum will sort out why the buttons dont buzz).

Finally i've got a rom that i'm happy with and should be able to keep! I have tried every one posted on the forum and tweaked them to death too. (And thought i had killed my Defy on more than one occasion)

Now when's somebody going to find a leaked Gingerbread rom for us ;)

Haha, I feel exactly the same way mate, this is the best one I've tried so far. No problems at all. Video recording is awesome at 8mbps/30fps. Shame I can't downgrade now, but to be honest, I really don't mind. :)

I have already flash it, and all works perfectly. To record videos at 8mbps/30fps, it's needed to do something?

Thanks

I will install your .zip file to beef up the video recording - sounds good. I take it i just rename the zip to update.zip and flash with the tenfar / defy clockwork mod recovery?

What exactly are protected apps in the market? (bit confused with this). You dont mean unlocking apps for free like Ap****et do you? Or is it something a bit more legit ;)

cheers

It's all legit mate, Google have to approve each build to make sure apps are compatible or whatever, so it's just to tell the market that we have an already approved build installed.

For instance, if you search for the PayPal app, it wont appear on the market, but after applying this it will.

To apply, boot into the recovery menu and choose to install the zip update from sd card. Using the clockwork menu you wont need to rename and you can look through. I think if you do it by the standard recovery, then yes it has to be renamed.

I wanted it for myself as I use software called "MM Tracker" which I'd bought from the market when I first got the Defy. But since changing roms it doesn't appear so I can't download it. Applying this means I can :)

I don't have a list, but some I know of are MM Tracker (my favourite ever app) and the official PayPal app.
Oh, I NEED this app! I've already apply the patch. All perfect.

Thanks!!

EDIT: Oh, my market app doesn't update itself... Maybe in some time... Or could be the fix?

Ah, you might need to go into settings>applications>manage applications.

choose the market app, force stop, then clear data.

Restart market and it should start fresh with the new settings.
