The red text pop-up gone away, but nothing changed after the update.
Maybe is because there was a long pause between the process and when I finally realized I just had to restart it from the "restart" button on the schrool down menu, it nulled the whole thing because it wasn't in a single go??

Re-install the new firmware again, if the upgrade failed again, then you better do a factory reset and then reinstall.
The same exactly happened to me last night. to work around is try to force update.
1. put the zip file in the root fold of your USB drive. and plug into the car.
2. use the paperclip hit the reset hole, wait for the restart, and when the logo shows turn the key to OFF.
3. after the screen shut off, wait 5 seconds then turn the key to ACC or ON.
it will start updating itself.
That’s true, Firmwares after September 2022 can read directly from the zip file, and I believe this was applicable to both TS10/TS18, as stated before by Dofun developer.
Recently installed a TS10 8GB/128GB. As a new user, I feel it unstable and don't know where it went wrong.
1) My set will somehow restart itself. Usually it happen on bumpy roads. I do not know due to what.
2) Due to the restart, some of apps will just login and consider user "Missing". Which means it don't auto log out. Have to restart the unit and then re login again.
3) My Waze went haywire. I logged in my profile. During my drive, it restarted and now I can't login into my Waze. Every time it ask for verification, the e-mail appears in my phone but I can't verify in my phone. I now logging into Waze as guests. Any solution to this?

that procedure worked flawlessly, it took a bit longer than the previous one, but the OS version did change
the text feels a bit bigger, but aside that and a new top icon I couldn't notice other changes, I made the update and left the car to a workshop right after, had to refill the A/C
someone have a link to the changelog for the updates the OS received after 2021?
and when I'm at it, the bluetooth app is bound to the OS or we can update it separately like the radio?

Note : INSIDE this app have a TLINK5 too. TLINK5 and TLINK are different variant and have different license. IF your headunit comes with TLINK5 than can update it to latest version, if your headunit comes with TLINK, then you can only can update the others app NOT TLINK.

Also, has anybody had resolving issues with bluetooth by upgrading MCU or firmware? External DAC bluetooth application refuses to stay connected to DAC. The bluetooth works for my phone and also a bluetooth application for an air ride pneumatic solenoid valve air lift functions and connected properly as well.

Guys, is it possible to change the Bluetooth theme? The theme that comes from the factory is horrible!!
Yes use different theme or find/download/install different "3COM.ts.mainUI8" process, it will change default one for all apps installed

Find your default logo installed on root directory (usually is on ANDROID/DATA/.../logo or something like that - find it where is exactly - image would be like that logo_xxxx.png)
Copy and paste that file "logos_xxxx.png" or what ever it is called to USB drive and put to a PC and edit that specific file with some imaging program (I suggest using a Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks 8 - OLD program but I have this for years and always do imaging on that program) and put your desired logo (but remember SAVE AS IT WAS, only press SAVE and rewrite , NO RENAMING of that file or "saving as" , otherwise app/process responsible for calling up logo to bootscreen wil not work or will be distorted or not there at all - black screen).
When saved, turn this file back to original place on unit and restart.
After restart you should see your logo on bootup.

Do not worry about your Android version, at all, it is what it is, and it has probably been optomised for your generation hardware.
So instead of enthusing about which Android version spend time learning to use apps you want and need to use, only updating those apps when necessary, and sometimes replacing those apps with others more suitable from the app store.2

I have Tesla style screen and the layout didn't fit properly (everything was stretched). Due to that I didn't use it.
After update the scale and layout fits perfectly. Connecting is stable.

87Hi everyone! i been continued to test new firmwares and Tlink versions for our "dear" TS10 headunits and I have gone trough over 100s of them and the newer firmwares usually mostly mess up more things than they bring anything useful.
But this week i installed TS10.1.2_20230220.171000_WINDOW-THEME1 (NOTICE! this is for units with the 1.2 versions of the firmware, NOT for 2.2 or 1.1 or any other versions! and NOT for the vertical window ones).
And on top of that did i install the new version of Tlink 2.0.18 to get a fully working Android Auto/Carplay.
Which led to that i for the first time got a almost perfect working TS10. The only thing that was a bit tricky was to connect the phone to TLINK, but by trying several times (i removed the bluetooth connected units on my phone and headunit and re-connected) did it finally work wireless also (it worked directly with cable).

I spent this weekend digging deep into my headunit both looking at the hardware which made me think that if the Chinese manufacturers would put as much effort as they do in faking the hardware/software (Android version) and trying to block all software that will show that its not a Android 11 or 12 unit so could this unit be a great one.
On the software side is the BIG problem that we have a firmware which is made for the chinese market and after that been remade again and again until its so messed up so you have to spend several months trying to find what you looking for and its filled of pincodes to enter settings. They messed up the basic settings for example autostart that will not work or the inbuilt microphone and Google Assistant because the Google settings is crippled. I really wish there will come a CLEAN version of the firmware which is like a Google Pixel phone without all the crap.
The same with the preinstalled Theme app where that one now lately is called ilauncher http://ilauncher.net/ and you still need to pay for the extra themes (well if you have the Chinese version so are there free themes monthly but not otherwise) and where most people have no idea that if you upgrade it correctly will you have support now for Spotify where the songs and album cover will show up nicely in the stock theme.
But there is still no support for the stock theme to use and show song names and covers for example Rocket Music player, PowerAmp, Musicolet, AIMP or Jet Audio Player instead do we need to use the inbuilt music/videoplayer that has a UI that makes me believe im back in the 80s again and just want to make me cry.....
