What kind of special file that can change the Android version? Can you share the file?
The android version of my unit is 11, looks the same to me and not sure what's the difference between 11 and 10. Maybe it's a fake 11 just to trick customer like you said.
In that case just search on google playstore for Dashcam recorder and try several different ones (try the free versions) and see if you get one that works with your camera. Not all software are compatible with "unbranded cameras".
It seems its just a way to make it look like it is a Android 10, 11 or 12 the files i have you just copy and paste on a USB stick together with the firmware files (you overwrite one of the files with the ones i have). Which means that many T10 units perhaps not even have Android 10 installed on them... check your PM box i send you the file.
Another thing, do you have WINDOW_THEME1 or just THEME1 firmware version?
I saw a case when you installed THEME1 on the unit that is originally have WINDOW_THEME1 get stucked on the boot.
I tried both Window_theme1 and the Theme1 latest versions on my TS10 6gb 128gb and they both work (atleast the latest versions 2021-12-22 and 2022-01-12) - im not sure about the other ones.
what's your original version? with WINDOW or without it?
what's the difference between those? can the one with WINDOW do splitting screen like 2 apps open at the same time on the left and right side by side?
The seller first gave me the theme1 version (see example below) and then i got the Window_Theme version which looks similar to the one above with divided windows (there is several different versions depending which seller you bought the unit from but they are quite the same).
And both version can do split windows - on the unit - the trick is to push the "recent button" choose the app and press and hold it and drag it to the left or right and then do the same for a second app.

By the way, when you push the DOWNLOAD button (see picture) when connected to WIFI/4G what happens? does it download a file? and have you checked the download folder with filemanager?

Yes you are right, i downloaded the same firmware you have and Its like you said it only open up Playstore. So hopefully does anyone in this thread have a working camera recorder app too recommend otherwise do you need to test several ones until you find one that works for you. I double checked all firmwares i have and none of them had a preinstalled apk file for camera recording
Thanks, you have the latest firmware for your headunit and theme1 so no need to change firmware. The difference between theme1 and window_theme is just it add a window where you can choose to show google maps, recorder.

The theme-V2 and TW1-V2 firmwares is for the vertical screen (also called Tesla screens). See picture.

I get the latest versions of both firmware and Tlink from my seller, but the Tlink version has also been posted in this thread before and the same with lots of earlier versions. The rule with firmwares and Tlink is if everything works good already skip the newer versions!.
The reason is because its very easy to mess things up because the t10 headunits has too many manufacturers where everyone call the model t10 but there is different screens (sizes and vertical/horizontal/Teslastyle), radiochip, bluetooth, WiFi, processors, memory and so on in the headunits so just because it works for one person doesnt mean it will work for you.2

I did some searching online to purchase this setup which you recommended. I did not manage to find the power consumption of the devices I intend to buy, so I am going to wing it with a 15W (3Ax5V) power hub and will hope for the best I am thinking of having the following setup:View attachment 5634593
Item 1: link - Item 2: link - Item 3: link - Item 4 is the TS10 HU. Then I will connect the DVR, TPMS, DAB+ into the blue ports in the hub, and will have an extra USB for a pen drive, and this hub also comes with a powered USB which would be convenient.
I have a few concerns with this setup, which you might be able to answer:
Q1 - As described above the system is not fused. How can I achieve that?
Q2 - Also, how should I wire it, so that the USB hub and the connected devices are disconnected from the car battery when the ignition is turned off (to avoid having the battery continuously being drained)?
Q3 - Do you foresee any other issues with this setup?

All units are android 10, 11 is just faked by chinese, don’t worry about that.
1- Insert your USB
2- Press RST button by a paper clip or needle.
3- once the logo appeared on the screen,immediately turn the the engine and pull your car keys for 5-10 seconds.
4- Start the car, and it will start the upgrade automatically.
Tell me if have any issues. -

4Time for a new firmware release TS10.2.2_20220517.180646_THEME1.zip (NOTICE! this is for the ones that have THEME1 versions installed already (check what version you have before installation!) or for the ones that want to change from the WINDOW-THEME versions).
Firmware update info:
1. Support: Netflix and Disney+ use (APK supports the latest version, manual installation is required)
