is it possible to link to obd connector or aftermarket ecu such as maxxecu or hondata Bluetooth? If so is it native or need to install app seperately

Anyone knows how to prevent to open radio app by default when I turn on the head unit? Or change it to other app.

If you want to use another radio app as default or not want any at all can you disable the "stock FM radio" in the settings i done it myself and I now use instead Navradio+ at the moment. And you should also have the choice in some of the launchers like Agama, Car Launcher Pro, WebGuru and so on to set the radio app you want as default.

I can’t find that option, can you show me an screenshot?

Other question, it’s possible to add external usb and external mic? Because my Bluetooth it’s not stable (I don’t know if it’s the chip or the app) and my microphone it’s very bad.

I will upload a picture on thursday and more info on how to disable stock FM radio. About the bad Bluetooth/Wifi so did you connect this cable? Its the one with one yellow plug (Camera) and two small cables (Antenna for BT/Wifi). If you miss to connect this one - do it and see if it helps (on some units will this cable make a big difference for Bluetooth/wifi signal strength).

Better picture of the Wifi/BT antenna Cable. So for all that has bad Wifi/Bluetooth connection - connect this cable!

That’s the rear camera cable right? It’s connected because my seller told me the same with no luck, bluetooth have range but not stability. Anyway, my cable it’s a bit different (short one it’s black not white)

The connections on the backside of the head units differs a bit from the sellers. On my unit is it for the optional Camera and pin E2 and E3 is for Wifi and Bluetooth (the small cables)- Double check you put the cable in the right place because its possible to put it in more than one spot.

The stock theme on our TS10 head units with the blue car is there no simple way to change the car picture on without coding skills. A easy way is to use a Car Launcher like for example CarWebGuru launcher (see video).

Does it support the vertical screens (720x1280)? My screen is the 9.6 inch vertical screen vs. the 1280x720 horizontal screen.

    Time for a new firmware release TS10.2.2_20220517.180646_THEME1.zip (NOTICE! this is for the ones that have THEME1 versions installed already (check what version you have before installation!) or for the ones that want to change from the WINDOW-THEME versions).


    Firmware update info:
    1. Support: Netflix and Disney+ use (APK supports the latest version, manual installation is required)
    2. Support: Apple mobile phone usb network sharing (settings - network - more network settings - USB network sharing open)
    3. Support: Added support for ext4 format storage mount (usb, extsd)
    4. Support: Compatible with screen parameters with dcs in BOOT file name; 2K screen FT8201AA and FT8201AB touch IC compatible
    5. Compatible: The theme is compatible with 1920*720 resolution display (but it is recommended that customers use an exclusive system with HDPI to do this resolution)
    6. Compatible: touch compatible 1200x1920 with buttons
    7. Increase: AUX adds video full-screen ratio debugging function
    8. Sangka: The voice software selection is changed to display all third-party apps of Google+
    9. Optimization: the 360 camera flashes back after 5 seconds of opening and the problem that it cannot be opened

    Yes, the Theme1 has no "window" where you for example can use a map (like Sygic, TomTom, Google Maps, Yandex). And the Window-theme1 has that function (see pictures below)

    Hopefully somebody finds those URLs/endpoints useful.
    I don't know much about android internals, but downloading an APK over HTTP and then executing that APK to flash the canbox seems like potential avenue for rooting things. Inject your own APK and if the process on the head unit runs the APK as a system level user, the injected APK sould also get system level permissions, right?

    I've also been dealing with this issue and how to access the cardoor.cn server for a few days. Maybe there are older MCU files there too? Till now I haven't found any way to access Chinese server directly and get files like MCU, climate control app and vehicle settings app. I don't own a TS10, but access is similar or the same on the TS9. The requests to the server must and are apparently sent directly via POST.

    I was also able to record these requests with a sniffer and root on my TS9 and am currently in the process of reconstructing them. The biggest problem currently denying access is the ever-changing signature that is sent with the POST request. This appears to be an MD5 hash. I get a Code 200 (OK) response from the server: "illegal request".

    In addition, the file names are rather cryptic.
    It looks like these are sourced from cdn.mcu.cardoor.cn.
    But: The server expects a direct URL to the file! Otherwise there is an error message.

    My background is not evil. I just want to get a previous MCU for my TS9 in some way. Unfortunately they are very difficult to impossible to get...

    Go to applications/car settings/ click on the left button ---more/ Google services and preferences/ click on account services/ search, assistant & voice/ voice/ voice match.
    First line should say hey Google access your assistant any time you say "hey Google" when your screen is on. Turn this off.
    This worked for me. I'll make a short video just in case

    After the update, go to settings - car settings - extra setting - 123456 - config info - choose the options that were ticked prior to the update (BC6 for me)

    Time for a new firmware release TS10.2.2_20220517.180646_THEME1.zip (NOTICE! this is for the ones that have THEME1 versions installed already (check what version you have before installation!) or for the ones that want to change from the WINDOW-THEME versions).


    Firmware update info:
    1. Support: Netflix and Disney+ use (APK supports the latest version, manual installation is required)
    2. Support: Apple mobile phone usb network sharing (settings - network - more network settings - USB network sharing open)
    3. Support: Added support for ext4 format storage mount (usb, extsd)
    4. Support: Compatible with screen parameters with dcs in BOOT file name; 2K screen FT8201AA and FT8201AB touch IC compatible
    5. Compatible: The theme is compatible with 1920*720 resolution display (but it is recommended that customers use an exclusive system with HDPI to do this resolution)
