Out of curiosity, how did you find this newer version?The activation problem is usually because the user is not online when trying to activate the Tlink app. So try first to be online (wifi or other) when you start Tlink and check if it activates. If that doesnt work so do you need to contact the seller because if you paid for a headunit with wireless/wired Android Auto/Carplay so do they need to provide the activation code for Tlink otherwise will it not work.
Here is the latest version for Tlink 1.9.5
I get the latest versions of both firmware and Tlink from my seller, but the Tlink version has also been posted in this thread before and the same with lots of earlier versions. The rule with firmwares and Tlink is if everything works good already skip the newer versions!.
The reason is because its very easy to mess things up because the t10 headunits has too many manufacturers where everyone call the model t10 but there is different screens (sizes and vertical/horizontal/Teslastyle), radiochip, bluetooth, WiFi, processors, memory and so on in the headunits so just because it works for one person doesnt mean it will work for you.
If I'll have time I will try to go through this thread and update first post with most of the information to make it easier for people to find instead of looking through the whole thread

Hello. How do you set the radio sleep time after turning off the ignition? Is the option 2 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days safe for the car battery?
I myself has it on "No sleep" which means the headunit will not drain the carbattery at all and will reboot from start every time. But if you have a good car battery and drive every week so the battery get charged so is all modes safe to set.
Well, not that i have found yet. So i use car launchers (like AGAMA and so) or a autostart app for android like this one:

A little off-topic tips for the ones that think the text on the screen is too small (even though you maxed it in the google settings) search for BIG FONT in Playstore and give it a try.
Hi I have this headunit in my 2012 Ford Mondeo and when i press detection update it says all is your upto date but reading this forum i see there are updates just want some help to see if i can update to this one TS10.1.2_20220409.141645_WINDOW-THEME1

So your version is from 2021-04-08 its a special version made for your type of headunit with the firmware ending name TW1-V2. Its not the WINDOW-THEME1, THEME1, THEME1-360 or any other of the loads of firmwares that circulates.
First of all does everything works as it should on your headunit? if it does dont mess with it!
And if you have the need for a update then is the latest version i can find for the TW1-V2 models TS10.1.2_20211023.140539_TW1-V2 from 2021-10-23 which you can download here:

so i update my software from TS10.1.2_20210408.185346_TW1-V2 to TS10.1.2_20211023.140539_TW1-V2 now my heater controls arr blank and dont work ive gone in to factory setting and put thrn as they were before the update but still nothing.

Check if can box selected is the same as it was previously.
Also did you make a backup before flashing?
If you did, put a usb in your head unit and do a restore setting from backup before flashing something again

Just like Sciux already answered you so go into your Canbus settings (take a picture or write down all settings!) and double check the A/C control is marked then click OK and re-download the MCU update and let it install and restart your headunit. If it doesnt work do a factory reset and do it again.
I dont have TS10.1.2_20210408.185346_TW1-V2 but i do have TS10.1.2_20210505.171701_TW1-V2.rar
And does everything else work? except the heater controls?

I think there is already an autostart app because I have the DSP Equalizer app that is launching every time the engine is started (which is very annoying by the way). But I can't find how to configure it.

What is the full name of your installed firmware now? does it end with theme1, window-theme1 or something else like TW1-V2 or THEME-V2? its best to keep to the same. But if you had a TS10 1.2 unit does it work to change from THEME1 to WINDOW-THEME1 and the other way. Not sure if this will work on the TS10 2.2 version you have.
Also when you update firmware remember to keep to the one you using for example you have TS10 2.2 and that one is not compatible with TS10 1.2 firmwares because they have different hardware the same with TS10 1.11
Great! yeah it is a mess with the menus. I myself is going back to the older versions (from early 2021) and forward to see the changes. And believe me its getting more messed up for each new version (in other words harder and harder to find what we need). And to be honest i really wish they would start from scratch again with the TS10 firmware and skip the pin codes and hidden menus.1Ok, I want to help clarify some of these menus for users of at least the latest firmware for either WINDOW or THEME1. Those are the only two I can confirm these menus for.
I didn't realise, until @CyberSwede said something, that the Factory menu does indeed have TWO different accesible menus depending on which password you enter. I will try to simply cover the available selections and not all of their submenus.
Lets start with the password of 8888. This will let you access these options. As you can see its pretty simple. Not many selections available.
Now for the 123456 menu. This menu has many more selections. "Engineer mode" is available under this menu.
As you can see, there are many selections here. I hope this helps others find the menus they need. -
5New firmware is now released for the 1.2 WINDOW-THEME1 version - TS10.1.2_20220721.111654_WINDOW-THEME1 in this release have they now put back the FOTA that was removed in earlier versions.

I spent this weekend digging deep into my headunit both looking at the hardware which made me think that if the Chinese manufacturers would put as much effort as they do in faking the hardware/software (Android version) and trying to block all software that will show that its not a Android 11 or 12 unit so could this unit be a great one.
On the software side is the BIG problem that we have a firmware which is made for the chinese market and after that been remade again and again until its so messed up so you have to spend several months trying to find what you looking for and its filled of pincodes to enter settings. They messed up the basic settings for example autostart that will not work or the inbuilt microphone and Google Assistant because the Google settings is crippled. I really wish there will come a CLEAN version of the firmware which is like a Google Pixel phone without all the crap.
The same with the preinstalled Theme app where that one now lately is called ilauncher http://ilauncher.net/ and you still need to pay for the extra themes (well if you have the Chinese version so are there free themes monthly but not otherwise) and where most people have no idea that if you upgrade it correctly will you have support now for Spotify where the songs and album cover will show up nicely in the stock theme.
But there is still no support for the stock theme to use and show song names and covers for example Rocket Music player, PowerAmp, Musicolet, AIMP or Jet Audio Player instead do we need to use the inbuilt music/videoplayer that has a UI that makes me believe im back in the 80s again and just want to make me cry.....2
Hey I am also struggling with the mic being too low issue. I have maybe a solution but need to test it when I have some time.
There is this ts10 toolkit script which let's you extract the firmware content and patch it. I plan to edit the build.prop using some settings posted in another thread of fyt units. Will report once it is done2
Yeah its for sure a mess with our headunits - soo many different versions where the themes and menus is not the same and some manufacturers block or disable several functions and hide them behind passwords or deep into the headunit so its impossible to find the setting. But still is unit called ts10
and got even worse now with the vertical screens and the 2.2 versions.....2
I will dig deep into the system next weekend (will probably end with a bricked headunit!
) and see if i can come up with something that can be useful for us. By the way in .twhide so is the speedplay license file hiding and some more interesting ones in .Blink my goal right now is to get a working version of ZLINK 5 (it shows up but cant fix the activation yet).2
Inside the firmware folder if you unpack it you find a "History.txt" file with the firmware update info. The problem is that its only in Chinese so need to use Google to translate it. Anyway here is a list for you:
