Thats strange, i also use Android 12 on my phone and i never had a similar problem. Hopefully does someone else here on the forum know a way to fix it.

If i want instead of using AA or Carplay to mirror my phone screen or tablet do i just setup a personal wifi hotspot and use Easyconnection on the head unit (you should have that already installed or in the apk folder on the headunit) and then connect with screen mirroring on the phone.

Like i wrote before in this thread so do the sellers of TS10 units (and other versions also) use a special firmware file to make the system show that we have Android 10, 11 or 12 installed when we perhaps have lower version than that. I tried the firmware file and as you can see does it show i now have Android 12 ....

So dont take for granted that you have a Android 10, 11 or 12 unit.

If everything works right now and you are already on the latest provided firmware through OTA which is TS10.1.2_20211222.190750_THEME1 so keep that one because the TS10.1.2_20220112.094905_WINDOW-THEME1 released january 2022 is basically the same firmware but with the difference that it has a separate window where you can use a widget like Google maps.

If you have the 7-inch screen (1024x600) will it not look good with the Window version but if you have a 10-inch screen and up will it look better. But if i was you would i keep the firmware you have and wait for the next update on OTA for the theme1 version (it will come soon).

Go to SYSTEM SETTINGS - HOME SCREEN - DEFAULT APPS - Choose the home app you want under HOME APP (double check also in the Asunto Theme settings that its not set to autostart - this is why many gets frustrated when for example Agama Car launcher and other continue to open even though you choosed another launcher as default).
