But why not use OTA? Ive updated my ts10 three times like that. Share wifishotspot with phone and etc. So you will get 100% correct firmware.

ok - the update topic is no longer available for me - I did it on line via radio - it went smoothly and without any problems. For my part, I see one difference ... I think RDS started to work properly

There are no OTA updates available for me. It always says it's running the latest version. I presume my model is using a different OTA url than your unit.

This is also something I am curious about, why some people with almost identical units are seeing updates, while others aren't. Ive seen other Topway TS10 firmwares listed in this thread ( much newer than mine, 20210301 ) but I am hesitant to flash them. Im trying to learn what I can about these systems before I start moddifying anything.

Hi everybody, I'm pretty much new to this thread and also to Android HU.
Recently bought a "10.36 inch / 8gb / 128gb / 2000x1200 / Octa Core" From GcPaSr at Aliexpress.
The HU is awesome, especially the screen, but I'm experiencing some trouble:
1) First with Wireless Android Auto and TLink, because when I connect wirelessly the resolution drops a lot and in comparison with Wireless Carplay in which the resolution stays the same and looks awesome, but not for Android Auto. (Using S20 ultra with Android 12 and TLINK 1.9.5)
2) Second, whenever I enable "Sleep" at 2 hours or more at the settings, I experience random screen freezes and I cant literally do nothing, I supose the trouble comes from the Sleep function because I just enabled it today and it happened again.
Thank you in avance and I hope somebody can help me with this trouble.
I read that "ZLink" has an option that says "HD Enable" or something like that but I dont know if it will work on mi HU or maybe I need to try some alternative for TLink.

I have another question regarding what seems to be stock themes that I cannot access. While digging through the files I currently have access to, I found what looks like 3 other themes. I added another folder in my Drive link named "Themes?" with pictures of what im talking about. There seems to be 3 of them; RedTheme, GoldTheme, and WhiteTheme. Is there any way to access these, or is the main Theme app overlaying?

I’ll do an md5 check with the version @orhan02 linked to see if they are the same package. That way I can install his updates next time.

Yes, the Theme1 has no "window" where you for example can use a map (like Sygic, TomTom, Google Maps, Yandex). And the Window-theme1 has that function (see pictures below)

Do I need to backup anything before applying this update??
This is one of a few questions I have as well. Ive been trying to piece together the correct methods for dealing with these specific units, and ive spent some hours doing so unsuccessfully. I have really only managed to build a Drive folder with apk back ups, firmwares, and a few tools.
Ive seen posts/replies from last year that have 0 responses, not a criticism but an observation. It seems like alot of this information needs to be aggregated. I am attempting to build resources to accomplish this, not just for myself but for anyone who needs them as it also seems everyone is trying to deal with different problems/tasks.
What do I do if FOTA says its up-to-date, but its a firmware from march of last year?
Does that mean I can't run anything past this? Or does it mean it just isn't seeing it due to looking at a different server? Do they all look at the same server?
I have so many questions.

Thanks, forgot to mention that I tried restarting several times and it still wasn't recognized. I've got the SIM connected as part of the 20-pin connector shown in the attached. I did reach out to the seller I purchased the head unit from on AliExpress, they said that "due to the suppression of Chinese technology by the United States, our 4G function cannot be used in the United States anymore."1
I installed Vivid 6.4.5 on my horizontal headset.
It does everything fine, the start up can be a bit slow sometime but is stable.
The biggest problem that makes me unable to use it is that it doesn't see the default Bluetooh app in the headset so I can't manage music from it, and it have the best music manager I've seen on this things.
I couldn't find a alternative bluetooth app that works or a update for the one we get with the device.1

Unfortunately that only adjust the door animation (from what I can see).
I did however work out that the TLink settings can swap car play left and right, so I’m happy now as car play was the main reason.1 -
987Hi everyone! i been continued to test new firmwares and Tlink versions for our "dear" TS10 headunits and I have gone trough over 100s of them and the newer firmwares usually mostly mess up more things than they bring anything useful.
But this week i installed TS10.1.2_20230220.171000_WINDOW-THEME1 (NOTICE! this is for units with the 1.2 versions of the firmware, NOT for 2.2 or 1.1 or any other versions! and NOT for the vertical window ones).
And on top of that did i install the new version of Tlink 2.0.18 to get a fully working Android Auto/Carplay.
Which led to that i for the first time got a almost perfect working TS10. The only thing that was a bit tricky was to connect the phone to TLINK, but by trying several times (i removed the bluetooth connected units on my phone and headunit and re-connected) did it finally work wireless also (it worked directly with cable).

First line should say hey Google access your assistant any time you say "hey Google" when your screen is on. Turn this off.
