Not sure if this is a bug due to new update but when I get a voicemail notification and I click to check the voicemail I get a message displaying "tips call not sent, no valid number entered". Anyone else facing this issue?
I had that issue before the update. Not sure if mine has been fixed as I haven't had any voicemail since.

Ok it's so unusual. I don't want to chance a factory reset. I however have reached out to vivo on fb so if they offer a solution i will share it in forum

I updated 508mb file, after phone rebooted itself to install, i got a popup stating update corrupted then ok button, next pop-up said reset phone and download....The phone rebooted itself and I checked for update and now it shows 2.69gb file.
Had anyone faced same issue?
Does this indicate to factory reset and then upgrade?

So, back on 1.8.5, my phone developed the following bug:
I've had the update for a couple of weeks now, I think. So far everything's been fine but I've just noticed something weird.

The phone has forgotten which apps have permission to access the front camera - not the camera generally as the main camera works for apps that already had permission, just the extra permission for the front one.
Every time I use the front camera with an app, I get prompted for permission,to the point where if I give it permission, switch to the main camera and sowtch straight back, it asks again.

Also, if I try and go into the front camera permission option in Settings, it kicks me back out about 2 menu levels.

The camera itself works fine as soon as I give whichever app is using it permission, it just seems to be a software bug.
Has anyone else had the same issue or is it just me?
I decided to live with it, hoping the next update would address it but the issue remains.

I know it was suggested for something else but I tried the following to see if it would help:
You've deleted something by accident , I did the same, reset all settings without deleting data and they'll reappear. Worked for me :)
Sadly, no such luck.

The handset still doesn't remember which apps have permission to use the front camera (NB. not the camera generally, just the front camera) and when I try and navigate to that part of the settings, it kicks me back out.

I've also discovered, subsequent to resetting the settings on the handset that if I try and go into the Default Apps settings menu, it boots me out of there too.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had had the same issue or not.
If they haven't, I think I'll try a full factory reset and see if that helps at all.

Same here. I just thought it was one of those Chinese phone "quirks". Welp, hopefully the voicemail issue resolves after I apply the update in 3....2.....1!

...aaaaannnddd it's still broken after the update and numerous reboots. Oh well, phone is still great regardless.:fingers-crossed:
