The tricky part for me is to maintain connection while loading the AP BT and CSC files in NetOdin. I sometimes have to start all over again when the connection got lost

Try FIRST to choose all files in netOdin...
Computer need few Seconds to check MD5 Hashes...
If all done...

Only then connect Watch.

For me this is perfect timing... :cowboy:

It is not difficult. I've done it quite a few times without problems. The tricky part for me is to maintain connection while loading the AP BT and CSC files in NetOdin. I sometimes have to start all over again when the connection got lost (= the IP address is not showed anymore in NetOdin).
Once the files are loaded and the IP address is still shown, it's just a matter of pressing the start button and leave watch and laptop for about 20 mins.
One tip: disconnect any network cable from the laptop before you start. NetOdin can have difficulties connecting to your watch if you don't remove the cable.

About when to expect the DSL1 update in Europe: it took the CSG4 update 17 days to cross the ocean after release in the US. DSL1 was released December 10th in the US, so it looks like it will take a few more days if crossing the ocean takes as long as it did for CSG4.
Thank you for your feedback, very complete and informative !

Got my watch active today from a marketplace... Looks like it's an emirat Arab nations version ! It's a bit funny but I guess I won't be regretting to change to XAR. Good news I guess ?

I confirm Active 1 update for ZTO, Brazil. Most CSCs probably should have been updated now. This wave was very comprehensive. But it lacks the watchfaces from active 2, thought they would come along, but they wasn't listed in update notes anyway indeed. Does anyone know whether we are getting them or not?

Firmware flashing itself will never change csc (if you use Firmware which contains your current csc)

So ITV is one of the OXA Multi-CSC and you can flash without changes.
So what do you suggest me?

Should I flash:
- again the 3 files? Will Samsung pay work?
- an (old) ITV image and wait the OTA update? Where can I find an official ITV image?

Where can I find an official ITV image?

Try to look into this post:
https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=81307213&postcount=186

ALL CSC are inside SAME Firmware files...

You can check this, with Tool 7zip...

Code:
CSC_OXA_R800OXA1DSL1_usr.tar.md5
Unpack with 7zip

Code:
csc.img
Extract with 7Zip

Click around with Filemanager of your choice...

Where can I find an official ITV image?

This is wrong conclusion...

You have to differ between CSC as funny 3 letter... "text string"...
And as ACTIVE CSC stored in CSA Security partition...

You can use Google... CSC mechanism is used since years...
And still Running Gag...

Oh..
So I misunderstood the CSC: one is the binary image and the other is a sort of ID string!
Thank You so much.

So I must reflash the 3 files from https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=81261659&postcount=133

And I will have an "official" itv rom image.
Right?
Thank you so much @adfree

Not looked into the Netodin route. But tempted except eas told by samsung store that if it goes wrong it will invalidate warranty. Is it easy? I know there is a ppt i could read (and will) just wanted opinion? Thanks guys and happy Christmas

    SM-R800 and SM-R810...

Now only 4 CSC (Sales Code) left for DSL1 FOTA:
    Code:
    AFR
    BTU
    INU
    XEF

    These 4 still on CSG4...

For SM-R500 more CSC still R500XXU1CSH3...

    Nothing new about LTE devices...

    Best Regards
