Just updated from PG5. Got ALways on DIsplay new feature from Note 7 such as: changing content, style, clock, time settings. However, whenever I turn on Always On Display my battery drain really fast. Any solution for this problem? I'm using G930V from Verizon.
BTW if you currently are using the version in your screenshot that is not the most current version.

I updated via Verizon Software because my S7 can't update via OTA. Using it from different country not in the US.
I thought we were talking about AOD? If so go into settings and click aod and about AOD it will tell you version number and if it needs an update.

He can still root his device if he so chooses. Not sure there's any downside to being on APH1 right now.
Agreed. Could never get U firmware to work, signal issues for some reason, and not likely we will get custom recovery for earlier versions before I get a new phone.

I'm using it in Viet Nam. "It's an update through Galaxy Apps." <--- I dont have any AOD update in Galaxy Apps. I think maybe different country ---> store is different.

The U firmware is working great for me. Absolutely no issues.

I think it has to do with the mvno I work for but not sure.

with the update, my notifications and LED stopped working, so I rolled back the update and now they work again. I use the app Professional Reminder to repeat the notifications.

I had uninstalled the update, then my phone automatically re-installed it. The phone keeps on crashing with "google play services have stopped". Uninstalled again, no more problems. Anyone else having these problems- notification doesn't work and crashes?
