No need for Custom Rom

So I was able to change my DPI before I took the OTA and it kept it at the 350 DPI that I currently ran and just did the update. It left all the stuff I had disabled alone so it is running very smooth and is faster then 4.4.4. I have been running it for 4 hours now without a crash and text and e-mail are great and the apps and widgets I had before the OTA are all functioning fine. I will update if I see any problems.

Okay here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...op-5-0-oc1-t3063760/post59666956#post59666956

Only try it if you know how to restore. I don't want everyone to jump in at the same time. Let some brave soul try first and report back.
Thank you so much! I'm jumping in but my internet is having a very slow day so it'll be a little bit until I can report back. Really appreciate all the effort you have put in. Anyone else trying it right now? Good chance you'll beat me.

Could the stock non-rooted zip be used to adb sideload to a 100% stock NL1 device without wiping internal storage / data?

I was able to go from 4.4.2 (I think it was NJ5) to 4.4.4 (NC2) using adb sideload while keeping data intact. However, going from 4.4.4 (NC2) to 4.4.4 (NL1) using the same procedure resulted in wiped data (internal storage)! Totally did not expect that one to occur... since the device was/is completely stock, without custom roms or root. Nothing.

Not 100% sure. But I *think* side-loading it will not wipe the data.
