New Update rolling out now

Hi all..

Sorry for asking.

I downloaded flashtool and have it installed. So I'm ready to flash this version...

Are hoping that this update has the "move to SD Card" included.

1. When flashing, must one choose delete DATA or can one keep in unselected and "dirty" flash the firmware?
2. I have bought my Z2 Tablet LTE version here in South Africa. Will I have any issues with this firmware file?

Do you mean that the image is pre-rooted or that the version is rootable with one the various root tools?

No the image is not prerooted... The new software version is rootable. I did use the method advised by Pec74: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2784900

Hi just flash it normally, for me usually after flashing I make a reset and everything works perfect...

You don't need to be worried LTE will work normally just make sure APN is configured usually that's done automatically... Any other question?

I'll check the box and see but it's a clean room not much of junk.
For me it is smooth no lag maybe touch still need improvement not sure...
Give it a try and tell me what you think!

Here you go couldn't find which region but the SI is 1281-5558

Confirm Easyroot v11 works fine on this. Had to run it twice. (hung on first attempt @ cleaning up, FAQ says run twice, worked)
Towelroot by itself appears to run but does nothing as per root checker.

Touchscreen definitely 'seems' better on first impressions

I live in the US and was able just now to get the update using the Sony Update Service software. Have not had a chance to test it out yet.

To be honest, I have not noticed anything different from the update. What I've found out on the net is that the changes comprise:
- Improved touch function and performance
- Improved charging when battery is low
- Improved overall performance and stability
- All of the latest bug fixes and improvements

It's still on 4.4.2 and there's no apps to microsd functionality yet.

That sucks
But I suppose it will get here eventually.
Hopefully someone will post a .ftf soon though.

...is what I would like to see most. Not that I have any big issues, but sometimes the touches are not recognised (like 1 out of 50)

Just an info: Germany, unbranded SGP521 - no update via PC Companion.
But if the - still LOUSY - touch response doesn't get vastly improved, I don't see any reasons for updating anyway.
