That is minor update, better wait for 4.3 kitkat
That would be 4.4 KitKat ;) And there is no guarantee that it will ever be released for this device. It has not even been released by Google yet, so don't hold your breath - it's going to take months before it hits 3rd party devices.

And just because an update does not increase the Android version, does not mean it is useless. Have a look at the changes before deciding whether or not to update.

Where I can check the update change log?
Google it but no luck.

im still locked only rooted with moto thats it
So was I when my OTA failed :) In my case the OTA failed to install because the xposed framework was installed (by a 3rd party app) and had modified some system files. I had to run xposed, and make it restore the original files before I was able to install the OTA.

I am not referring to installing custom loaders, but rather to apps that modify system files - these do NOT require your bootloader to be unlocked. So check your "root" apps - some of them may have modified system files and this prevents the OTA from working because it is a "delta" and requires system files to be in their original state.

Interesting. Talk me through exactly what you did please?
I Rerooted after updating to the latest update with no problems yet:cool:, All I did was used "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" before preforming the update and then preformed backups of "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" using "Titanium backup" and "Lucky Patcher" That way I had a plan A and B then also place backup copies on SD Card just in case update wiped storage "which it doesnt but better to have it and not need it that need it and not have it", Any way after these steps I preformed the update and lost root then used "Titanium backup" to restore "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" and resaved root Now I have root back, also i would think this method could work with lucky patcher backup of apk and app data then a manual restore. Sorry kinda Tired so this might sound a little crammed together let me know if you want more clear info or instructions. "I would advise making another backup tho before doing a factory restore after trying these steps above", I have now used this method for the last two updates:D and I originally rooted using Motochopper v1.0 two updates ago.

The backup file is stored in the system partition so providing you that wouldn't do much good because you can't write to the system partition.

Probably a silly question, but I thought that you had to already be rooted in order to restore apps with Titanium Backup?
