That would be 4.4 KitKatThat is minor update, better wait for 4.3 kitkat
And just because an update does not increase the Android version, does not mean it is useless. Have a look at the changes before deciding whether or not to update.

Where I can check the update change log? That would be 4.4 KitKatAnd there is no guarantee that it will ever be released for this device. It has not even been released by Google yet, so don't hold your breath - it's going to take months before it hits 3rd party devices.

You best bet would be to hang on until they post the update on the website, they usually also provide the changelog there.Where I can check the update change log?
Google it but no luck.
4.3 isn't kit kat. Its a jb variant. 4.4 will be kit kat when released. That is minor update, better wait for 4.3 kitkat
This usually happens if you've changed any system files, such as installing xposed framework, freezing apps, etc. Try restoring any changes like this you have made before unrooting, then try the ota.? does anyone know why its failing to install from ota
it failed on mine i even unrooted it first and let the ota do its stuff..
So was I when my OTA failedim still locked only rooted with moto thats it
I Rerooted after updating to the latest update with no problems yetInteresting. Talk me through exactly what you did please?
Can you provide the original "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" Backup file for re rooting?I Rerooted after updating to the latest update with no problems yet, All I did was used "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" before preforming the update and then preformed backups of "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" using "Titanium backup" and "Lucky Patcher" That way I had a plan A and B then also place backup copies on SD Card just in case update wiped storage "which it doesnt but better to have it and not need it that need it and not have it", Any way after these steps I preformed the update and lost root then used "Titanium backup" to restore "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" and resaved root Now I have root back, also i would think this method could work with lucky patcher backup of apk and app data then a manual restore. Sorry kinda Tired so this might sound a little crammed together let me know if you want more clear info or instructions. "I would advise making another backup tho before doing a factory restore after trying these steps above", I have now used this method for the last two updates
and I originally rooted using Motochopper v1.0 two updates ago.
The backup file is stored in the system partition so providing you that wouldn't do much good because you can't write to the system partition. Can you provide the original "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" Backup file for re rooting?
coz i dont have the backup and i am on latest version and unable to root..ll methods tried...
Thanks in advance
Probably a silly question, but I thought that you had to already be rooted in order to restore apps with Titanium Backup?I Rerooted after updating to the latest update with no problems yet, All I did was used "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" before preforming the update and then preformed backups of "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" using "Titanium backup" and "Lucky Patcher" That way I had a plan A and B then also place backup copies on SD Card just in case update wiped storage "which it doesnt but better to have it and not need it that need it and not have it", Any way after these steps I preformed the update and lost root then used "Titanium backup" to restore "Voodoo OTA RootKeeper" and resaved root Now I have root back, also i would think this method could work with lucky patcher backup of apk and app data then a manual restore. It's added to your cache partition and yes you can copy it to any TF300.To what folder is an OTA update downloaded?
Is it possible to copy it to another TF300 for installing?
Thx...
Thanks, it seems to be deleted after installing process, so too late for me...:crying:It's added to your cache partition and yes you can copy it to any TF300.
