I got mine from pandawill, it's also cheap and with free DHL to many countries from etotalk, but it's still presale there. They also offer to install etotalk ROM on it I think. Or from zopomobileshop.com

Performance wise it's very good I think. Depends on what you will use it for. For high end games the resolution is too high for the chipset.
Riptide GP, Temple run 2 and Mini motor racing run very good. The Dark Knight Rises is on the limit. For some reason the despicable me minions stutters like crazy, but I think that's more due to compatibility issue rather than power shortage.

Screen resolution is amazing, and has to be FullHD at this size. Watching HD videos and surfing is pretty great.

Both wi-fi and 3G is similar, or perhaps even better than my old Motorola. Much better than my tablet (wi-fi). About 4 seconds to connect to wi-fi at my house, excellent signal.

Build quality is good. There is a somewhat soft feel to the battery door. Not cheap sh|t feel like many other plastic designs. The Flip cover also have high quality.

Fastest way to root zp980/zp990 : works also with win7 32/64bit

1) In developer option enable usb debugging. Connect phone with USB cable to your PC/notebook
2) Install SNAPPEA PROGRAM

it will detect your phone and install the matching drivers. (keep it running)
3) Download and run eroot.exe

My zopo990 have two problms. it seems to be a bad asembly with the secreen that causes a litte fuge of lights, in the botton of secreen.

In adition, the camera cant take well photos of childs. its take a lot of time or the sensor inst quick. My old devices takes photos well but with this are all moved.

Both problems are very importat to me cause are essencial thinks of a phone.

Question , i have only a normal size sim that i placed in the gsm only slot. But 3g is working anyway.
More than 10mbs download easy. Is it supposed to work in this slot?
I dont bother to downsize my simcard if it doesent matter which slot i use. ( i use only 1 sim ).

So far no problems with my phone. Its my second Zopo. And in my opinion they make phones you can compare to vel known brands but they are cheaper.
And in my country you cant get a phone with this specs at all. Maybe after 1q of 2014.

In my opinion the camera is quite good, but i havent much to compare with.

Havent started looking for customs roms yet. Got stock 4.2.1 20130818-102950. Came rooted.
No Chinese apps.

What zopo you had before? I have Zopo ZP950H at the moment and planning to buy this one. If you had 950 before, how you compare with this one?

As for your question is concerned, one sim slot is 2G and another is 3G. 2g shouldn't give a speed of 3g. But if you are happy then don't bother.

The camera will hopefully speed up in firmwareupdates.

Your screen might have a little backlight bleed. Unfortunately this is very very common in LCD screens, both in mobile devices and TVs.
Worst case I've seen was my freinds asus transformer pad.

The camera is good, but not exactly fast. So often the object has changed, if in motion, in the end result.

My last Zopo was ZP900 1G ram. Been using it for a year without any problems.

And its really an upgrade. The 990 seems like a exclusive phone. Beautiful finnish.
Fast cpu and gpu that isnt struggling with the high resolution. Feels like high end.

The 960x540 screen looks grey and blurry held beside the ZP990.
But its a little early to come to any conclusion about this new phone.
@FlipMorten do you know if there is any difference in 3g speed regarding to which sim
slot i use?
I only have a normal sim that i use in slot 2 , that is specified as gsm only. But it gives me a decent
3g speed. Should i downsize it and use the minisim slot?
