Yesterday they released kernel source for more than a year or two years old phones. Do we have to wait like years?

Well at least we have something right? I'm just being optimistic and trying to find reasons not to trade/sell this phone. The hope of the kernel sources being released is one of the few reasons why I'm still keeping this phone.

But I don't understand one thing if they released the sources for mi3 mi4 2-3 days ago then how these devices have official cm support?
